Ethan was aware that she still harbored some ill intentions toward Christian, yet he found himself unable to deter her. He could only cling to the hope that she wouldn't take her actions too far, fearing the consequences of her unchecked motives.
Just as Ethan was about to go to retrieve his car from the garage, Erfina once more halted him in his tracks. Then, to his astonishment, she performed an action that left him utterly shaken: she vanished right before his very eyes, leaving him bewildered
"Sister Fina? where did you go?" Ethan asked, his confusion evident as he scanned the room for her presence. His eyes darted from corner to corner, searching for any sign of her.
"I'm still here, young master, standing right where I was before. Just look down," Erfina's voice suddenly reached his ear, and as he glanced downward.
He caught sight of a small creature resembling a snake, vibrant with emerald hues and adorned with horns atop its head.
