"B-Brother?" Sarah turned her face towards him, her expression a mix of confusion and disbelief. She asked, uncertain whether if what she was seeing was real or merely a hallucination playing tricks on her mind.
"Yes, Sarah?" Ethan responded, suppressing a smile as he anticipated what was going on inside her mind at that moment. He was keenly aware of her thoughts and emotions, poised to respond accordingly.
"Nothing, Brother," she shook her head incredulously as she continued, dropping her bag into the backseat. "I thought I was getting into your car with some white-haired man. I must be hallucinating in broad daylight."
