"Ugh!!" Dropping to the floor, the girl groaned in pain. Raising her head, the scene in front of her made her widen her eyes in shock.
A man in his mid-thirties was standing upright as the coffee dripped down his face to his white shirt while everyone else was gazing at him in bewilderment.
"What in the world is happening? Why am I the one getting soaked?" He complained. Feng Xia glanced at the man in front of her. He was Manager Shi, manager of Yang Jin.
After a moment, she noticed something. Looking at her hand, she was stunned to see her hand being held by someone. It was by Yang Jin.
On the other hand, Yang Jin looked perplexed. Feeling Feng Xia's gaze, he also eyed down at his hand holding her hand. He immediately withdrew his hand and turned around beside him only to see Yuxi peering at him with a smirk.
[REWIND]
"Why did you have to make an excuse like this? You know how much I hate shooting in the morning." Yang Jin complained, getting out of the car.
"Look who's complaining? Why did you make me do it in the first place then? Lord, I don't get paid enough for this." Manager Shi rolled his eyes, taking out luggage from the trunk.
"Why are you carrying that? Where is that lazy assistant of mine? Wait, He didn't come with us?" Yang Jin looked around the surroundings.
"Hah. How funny of you to ask for him when you kicked him out yesterday. Let's just go."
"Wait, Aren't they Yuxi and Ms Feng?"
"Yeah, And I think the assistant quite messed up." Manager Shi said as he saw the girl dropping the coffee.
As they were about to walk towards them, Yang Jin noticed something and shouted " Watch out!"
*Freeze*
Yuxi stared at the flying coffee and the assistant who was also in mid-air.
"Automatic Defence, huh? Even though I can't use my powers, It's undeniable that the power is still in me." voiced Yuxi as she started perceiving around her.
"Hm? When did he arrive here?" She was startled as she saw Yang Jin right beside her with his hand extended as though trying to grab her wrist.
"Oooh~ Trying to save me? Well, Too bad, I don't like peasants as you touch me."
She switched her position with Feng Xia. "If I stay here, the hot coffee will fall upon me."
"Well, I don't have a choice then. Take it as a punishment for ruining my morning plans." She voiced as she switched her place with Manager Shi.
Before she did so, she made sure the coffee was cooled down, so that he wouldn't be harmed.
-Back at Present-
"I am so sorry. I slipped. Please forgive me for this once." The assistant got on her knees and kept asking for forgiveness.
"Since she is my assistant, I shall also be held responsible for it. Let me apologise and compensate you." Yuxi bowed as she apologised.
Hearing her words, the manager felt awkward while the baffled Yang Jin snapped out. The same went for Feng Xia.
Realizing the situation, she suggested " Why don't we talk about this later? The shoot is about to start. They need to get ready. Don't worry, I will make sure you will be satisfactorily compensated." She glared at the assistant making her quiver in fear.
"Brother Shi, Let it go. Poor girl is still on her knees," spoke Yang Jin as he approached the assistant and offered his hand. "Are you okay?"
'What a gentleman. Not only has he protected me, but he is also helping a lowly assistant like her.' Feng Xia was active enough to still praise this gentleman.
The assistant blushed as she saw him extending his hand. Nodding her hard in response, she eventually took his hand. Getting up, she thanked him and kept staring at her hand as if she would never wash her hand ever again.
"Let's go, The director is calling me." Feng Xia said as she began to walk. Others swiftly followed after her.

Shooting studio:
"You look marvellous even in casual clothing, Xiao Jin." acclaimed the director, seeing Yang Jin returning from the dressing room. He was wearing a simple beige shirt with white pants.
"Hey, Come here. Help him with the accessories." The director shouted. Soon, two staff members carrying several small boxes came forward. They opened the box for him, there were numerous silver rings in one. A thin bracelet in another. And at last a chain necklace.
While he was wearing it, the director began to say " Xiao Jin, I appreciate your suggestion of recruiting Liz. But, she is still a beginner in this field. Modelling is harder than anyone thinks. She has the perfect face and body for our ad, still, you know my expectation exceeds more than that. if I am not satisfied with her work, I won't have many choices."
*Click Clack*
Just as Yang Jin was about to reply, the sound of heel-clicking on the floor was heard. A soft gasp escaped some staffs mouth.
"There's no way, you won't be satisfied." Yang Jin voiced with a grin.
Donning a white balloon sleeved corset crop top that exposed her fair 90-degree collarbone and high waist mini beige skirt revealing her long legs, Yuxi walked towards them.
"Your hair?" Seeing her jet black long hair, Yang Jin inquired.
"It's a wig. Since we are doing a 'couple' theme, I thought I should match our hair too." Yuxi replied.
"The black hair and bangs suit you. Yet, the pink hair also looks good on you. You are so beautiful that any hairstyle suits you. " He complimented her.
Wearing the jewels given by the staff, Yuxi just flashed him a polite smile in response to his cheesy remark. Though, her smile was perceived as something else.
'Blushing, huh? It's so obvious she has a big fat crush on me.' He thought.
The initially stunned director began to give instructions " As soon as you both are ready, we will be starting our first shooting. So, Everyone get ready. All the best to you both. Hope everything goes well." Saying that he went back to work.
While they were having their touch up done, Yang Jin spoke again " Junior Yuxi, I know you are nervous. It will be fine since I am here. I will guide you throughout our shooting. Don't worry."
Hearing his words, the girl staffs fangirled within themselves while Yuxi was disgusted by his cocky behaviour. ' What the hell is wrong with this human? If only my powers were with me, he wouldn't have been able to talk at all.'
Ultimately, the shooting started.
