"Have you succeeded?" The old man's aged voice rang in her ear.
Liz smirked as she replied quietly," Let me just show you." Then she pulled away from the hug.
"Grandpa, you can look at me as much you want. I promise I won't leave by your side without telling you." She spoke as her hands cupped his face making him look at her.
As if seeing something delightful, the old man fragile body began to tremble in excitement.
His previous lifeless eyes were glistening brightly. His wrinkled quivering hands were clenched in a fist.
"I believe Father has recognised you. He looks so happy and excited." Master Zhang said as he beamed.
"Let's go. You must be hungry. I have prepared your favourite feast for you." Madam Zhang grabbed Liz's hands and took her inside the mansion.
Master Zhang also pushed Grandpa's wheelchair following them.
{Inside the mansion}
"Welcome home, Young miss." The chefs waiting for them at the door greeted Liz.
Liz smiled and nodded her head in response.
"Mom, I am tired. I want to rest first so I will eat later. You all can feast without me." Liz said indifferently taking out her hands from her grasp.
She turned around and walked towards her dad and grandpa before grabbing grandpa's wheelchair.
"I will take him from here. I have a lot to share with him. Please, Excuse us." She took the old man to her room.
However, before that, she stopped and informed "Also, please don't disturb us. No one is allowed to enter my room without my permission, not even your mom and dad. I hope you understand."
The stunned Zhang couples exchanged glances with each other.

Liz's bedroom;
After closing the door, Liz threw the jacket and sat on the bed. She closed her eyes for a while, before eventually opening them.
Her normal black eyes were replaced by glowing purple eyes. She said in a magisterial voice," We are alone."
As soon as she finished saying that, the supposedly fragile dumb old man in the wheelchair, slowly stood up on his feet.
Not daring to face her straight, he began to kowtow "Let me pay respect to the great deity then. Live long the great deity!!" He started to shout with high regard.
While the old man was kowtowing, complete darkness engulfed the entire luxurious room. The supposed Zhang Yuxi's body was shrouded by a purple mist.
"You may stop." In the complete darkness, the female silhouette standing in front of the old man ordered.
The old man stopped but was still on his knees with his head bowing down.
"Zhang Chen, It's been a long time. How are you doing?" The silhouette spoke. She had a tranquil yet powerful aura surrounding her.
"Great Deity, Blessed by your presence I am doing great. Bold of me to advise you, However, I suggest that Deity should replace my son and daughter-in-law to get rid of needless troubles." Zhang Chen propounded the idea he had in mind.
The female silhouette chuckled softly. She approached Zhang Chen, squatting down; she tapped on his shoulders "Aren't you a little heartless? He is after all your own blood."
Zhang Chen shook his head, he said in a firm tone "Even though he is my own if it troubles the deity I am willing to sacrifice anyone."
The female silhouette stared at him for a while before standing up. She flicked her hand.
*Roar*
The phoenix-like birthmark in her leg came to life. Each time it flapped its wings, it grew bigger and bigger. Eventually, it became large as the female silhouette.
*Roar*
Roaring, it dashed towards the girl. As soon as it touched her, a bright light blazed. It was so vivid that Zhang Chen had to close his eyes tightly and he could feel the scorching heat from the light searing his skin.
It remained only for few seconds but Zhang Chen's back was drenched in sweat, he was gasping for air. His skin was swollen red.
"Look at me." A soft voice rang on his ears which were so soothing and enchanting he nearly lifted his head to glance at the other party.
He clenched his teeth. He spoke in a resolute tone "I won't ever dare to."
"*Sigh* Are you defying my order?" The other party harrumphed.
Zhang Chen gulped, he slowly lifted his head. Although being prepared to see something farfetched, he still flinched in surprise.
