It's been 3 weeks since the fight against the Minotaur. So far Jesus has been hunting monsters and grinding his levels at a fast-paced. Even though his desire for strength is great, he decided to pick up a hobby as he gets bored hunting monsters all day unless it's some strong monster
Right now Jesus was laying on his bed staring at his new dagger with great amazement in his eyes
"No matter how many times I looked at this, it still amazes me how great this dagger is" Jesus mumbled

'55 in strength and 25 in Agility that's fucking huge in my book. Good thing too as my other dagger was close to breaking guess I got lucky huh'
While Jesus was daydreaming and looking at his dagger, a knock was heard from the door but Jesus ignored it as he was still daydreaming. They knocked again and Jesus got out of his daydream
"What do you want," Jesus said in an annoyance
"I'm here to give you your letter" A masculine voice could be heard through the door
"Just slide it underneath the door and I will get it" The man proceed to do so as Jesus saw the envelope at the entrance of his room. Once the man slid the envelope, he started walking away as his footsteps were getting further and further
'Give me the envelope Lucy'
'What, why don't you get it' Lucy said with a lazy tone
'I don't want to get up
'Neither do I'
'If you don't then you have to take a bath 2 times a day for a week' Jesus threaten
'Ugh fine' Lucy then got up from the bed where both her Master and herself were laying and started walking towards the envelope. She grabbed it and went back to the bed
'Here' Lucy then handed over the envelope with a moody attitude. Jesus Grabbed it from her mouth and once that was done she lay back down to the left of Jesus
'It's like dealing with my Sister. Well let's check what the envelope says' Jesus then open up the envelope and started to read it

We are here to inform you that you have met the requirements to take the test on becoming Mithril rank. Starting tomorrow at noon is when the test will start so get here as soon as possible or you have to wait another month to take the test again

'So I can finally become a Mithril rank. Well it's not all that exciting as I only joined the Hunters Guild to get an a official licenses to enter and exit the City so I won't pay every time'
'Well I might as well try as it could be one of the requirements to enter the school that only allows Mid-teir demons. It could also give me more Information that's not usually disclosed to the public' Jesus thought
"Well I guess I should head to bed huh, since its already getting late outside" Jesus then turned off the lamp and started to head to bed
The Next Day....
Jesus and Lucy had just arrived at the hunters Guild. Jesus had bags under his eyes and some stare at him like he was a walking Corpse. But even so, some respected him as sometimes he brings in monster corpses that are more powerful than the average Demon. So he's pretty well known
"Welcome Jesus, what may I help you today," Jason asked
"You should know already, I'm here for the Mithril rank test"
'Master don't be mean to the poor idiot' Lucy said. Jesus ignored her comment that was insulted to Jason
'Ah yes, please follow me then' Jason then got up and started heading towards the Training Area
"You seem agitated. What happened, you didn't get enough sleep" Jason said trying to make fun of Jesus
"I never get enough sleep due to my nightmares" Jesus exclaimed
Despite being in hell for more over than a month, his nightmares hadn't disappeared at all. Even though his nightmare of him being killed by the Minotaur over and over again is now almost gone. his nightmares of him being betrayed and seeing Emily died a horrible death over and over again are far from gone. Also there was another nightmare he thought that was long gone when he was alive, started to resurface in his dreams once again
"So what nightmare did you dream about," Jason asked
"Something that happened to me in the past" Jesus said in an irritated manner
"Oh... sorry for asking" Jason apologized while still walking towards the Training Area
"I don't give a shit" Jesus exclaimed

'Wow really master, you just made the mood awkward' Lucy said internally
During the rest of the walk to the Training Area, it was met with complete silences between the both of them as the atmosphere was pretty awkward. Jason felt embarrassed at this silence while Jesus didn't mind it at all.
"Alright then now we are here," Jason said breaking the awkward silence
"Now please take a seat in one of those chairs" Jason then pointed at some chairs where you could see some demons sitting
"What's the point of this?" Jesus questioned
"They're going to explain some of the rules I guess when you become a Mithril rank but they're no different than the rules you usually get. So pretty much this is a lecture" Jason Explained
"After they're done talking, that's when the test will begin"
"Ok got it" Jesus then started heading towards the chairs with Lucy following behind him
'You can get in my Shadow if you want Jesus said telepathically to Lucy
'Ok,' Lucy then disappeared which shocked the demons currently sitting on the chairs as they see a beast that man had disappeared out of thin air. Jesus didn't care as his goal was to bait out some demons that would go after a rare Tamed Beast like Lucy
Jesus then finally sat down with a few glares staring at him but he just ignored them and just closed his eyes trying to rest
5 minutes later...
"Hello everyone," A man said. Once Jesus heard the man's voice, he opens his eyes and could see a man that was standing at the front.
"My named is Chris and I'm your instructor for today's test, well it's not really a test but Oh well" Jesus could see Chris as a tall man that you might think he belongs in the NBA. but other than that, he couldn't care less about what he looks like
"So before we start the test, I should explain the rules when you become a Mithril rank, that is if you become a Mithril rank. So the first rule is" Jesus was listening to the rules for a bit but after hearing the same thing he heard from Jason, he decided to ignore him. After a few minutes of talking and explaining the rules on which everyone already heard when they first joined the guild, he finally explained the test to the demons
"Alright for today's test, you guys will pair up in groups of 2 and fight each other"
"Umm... what happens if you lose?" a demon asked Chris
"You failed and will have to take the test again in 2 months," Chris said
"Wait isn't it supposed to be 1?" A different demon asked
"Well if this is your first time here then you won't know about this. If you failed the first time, you have to wait 2 months, second time and that will be 3 months. It will keep increasing and increasing until you finally pass"
Some demons were sweating a bit while some have a confident look on their face while some didn't care like Jesus
"Alright I will decide who would you be fighting against" Chris then begins to pair up some demons with each other, as well as Jesus. Both Jesus and his opponent stare at each other as they know one of them is failing. Well, Jesus knows he's going to win but he didn't show it.
"Alrighty then, now that everyone is paired up we can finally start the test. But remember, don't underestimate your opponent" Chris pointed out
"Other than that you may begin" As soon as those words have been said, everyone started battling each other
Jesus on the other hand didn't rush his opponent, instead only yawns which made his opponent very angry
"don't UNDERESTIMATE ME" The demon yelled as he rushed towards Jesus
Despite his opponent being a Mid-teir demon, Jesus had a calm look on his face without one ounce of worry and just continued yawning
"GOT YOU BITC" before the demon could finish his sentence, Jesus grabbed his head and slammed it to the floor creating a crater. It all happened so fast in an instant that the demon didn't have the time to react to what just happened
"You are far too weak to face off against me" Jesus muttered to the pass out demon that he had defeated
"There I'm done," Jesus said towards Chris
"O-Ok Please stay over here by me until the test is over" Jesus nods grabbing a chair that was knocked over and sat to the left of Chris
Every participant stop fighting and had one word on their mind while seeing the feat that Jesus Just did
