My hands had clicked against the glass pot, "Be careful with that.. It's Kyle's.."Valerie responded as she rolled over the dough, i was on kitchen duty, me and Valerie were in charge to make the meals for all of the refugees.
I don't mind it, but I just have one thing I'm worried about, "Valerie-.. I don't think vegetables go in making bread.."I spoke out as i saw her approach the poor bread with a cabbage in one hand, and whole tomatoes in the other.
Yep, Valerie is an awful cook, I deeply sighed replacing the vegetables with more suitable equipment, "Oh.. right."Valerie replied, acting like she knew what she was doing.
I looked closely at her, she really had the determination in her eyes, a strong sense of justice and will seeped from her, it was endearing to me.
"W-Wait! The oven's going to explode if you!-"I yelled out not being able to catch the girl at the moment, as the oven exploded into smithereens, "Oh..", i mentally face-palmed.
Determined, good willed, righteous, humble.. But rightfully an awful cook.
"It-.. can be fixed right?.."Valerie spoked as she stared at the broken oven, covered in must and dust, I let out an audible sigh. "Fortunate for you.. We can.."I answered as I kneeled down beside her.
I placed a gentle hand over hers, a slightly flustered expression was placed on the female, "Or more so.. Never touch the kitchen and I'll fix it?.."I bluntly said ruining the oh so, 'romantic' moment.
It's supposed to be a Valerie and Kaden couple, not Aero and Valerie.. Her gaze paused for a second, "That's.. Too mean."Her eyes turned more subjective but came with a deep sigh of defeat.
"Alright.. I'm sorry for causing trouble.. I'll go and help out Kaden with the storage instead.."Valerie sighed as she pulled herself up from her feets, planning to walk away until I grabbed her by the wrist.
"No. Stay."I replied disagreeing with her words, I need someone to help me clean the mess here after all, I didn't really cause it..a light tint of blush showed upon the girl.
Oh.. I can tell I made a mistake, "O-Ok.."Her voice hitched, but as they say, accept your mistakes and move on from it, i handed her the wet sponge that i readily prepared for this moment.
You'd think I can trust the Female lead with cooking..

I knelt down to the level of the 16 year old, despite being older then I imagined he was quite shorter and thinner than I thought.
"Hey.. do you wanna come with me?.. I'll give you food of course.."I tried my best non-professional and genuine smile, the boy took a bite of his sandwich and nodded, taking in my hand and proposal.

I let out a soft sigh, "Then.. stay with me till your parents come back?.."I let out a small smile, we both knew that such parents don't exist, but one was in denial and the other was taking advantage.
"Okay.."His voice was quiet, but I could hear every word clearly, a silence filled the room before someone walked in. "Aero can y-.."A blonde haired male looked directly at the boy in front of me.

"Oh.."His shining blue eyes stared at the boy, in a kind of envy, as he looked back at me "Valerie and I need you right now.. You can bring him along too."A kind of creepy-like smile grazed the lips of the black haired male.
