"Halt!" A guard stopped them at the entrance to the plaza. "From what city are you from?" The guard asked them a question.
"We are humbly from the east city of Nethilor, Pevansheer." Isidore immediately answered the question with a bow to show respect towards the guard.
Nethilor is divided into five cities namely: Metropolitan Nethilor, which is located at the center of the empire where the castle stands and the most guarded place within Nethilor; Westvale is located at the west portion of the empire; Pevansheer at the east; Yorthendon at the north; and Norpine at the south.
The guard looks at them with suspicion. "You know the law sire, taking a child during an execution would cost you an extra increase in your tax." The guard said.
"I am fully aware of that sire, but me and my wife couldn't left her at our house alone. You know the world today, it was filled with horrible people, something bad might happen to her. I know you understand what I mean." He said with an obvious smile and glare on his face.
"I clearly understand sire." The guard recoiled from Isidore's stare. "However, we are still going to add an extra increase in your tax on this month." He pulled a piece of paper and inked feather place above the table nearby. "May I please know your name?" The guard asked him.
"Arthur Martin, from the city of Pevansheer." He replied shortly.
The guard wrote his name on the clean piece of paper using the inked feather. "Well, senior Martin, I hope you enjoy the event today. You may now go inside the plaza."
"Thank you." He bowed shortly and grabbed Mizuki and Chaneri inside the plaza.
"Hey, big bro. Who's name is that you mentioned earlier?" Chaneri asked in curiosity. "I think I already heard the name Martin somewhere."
"Of course you already heard of it. Martin is my surname." He replied shortly.
"Then who's Arthur?"
"Arthur is the name of my deceased brother." He replied.
While in the middle of their conversation, Mizuki tried to roamed his eyes around looking for an opening to where the two is possibly held captured.
"Is that where we're going?" He pointed to the big gate below the balcony, where the king should be during the execution.
"No, that leads to the palace." He said. "That, is where we're going." He pointed to an open gate situated at the west side of the plaza. "That gate will take us to where Zhia and Marjorie has been kept."
While waiting, they looked for a blank seat to sit. Most of the people who attended the execution are higher ups or people of those who live in high state or sector. Some of them are probably officials in their respective cities or have a connection and influenced from the king. Guards and knights were also positioned in every corner of the plaza. The three were cautious with their eyes and movements to prevent any suspicion from the people around.
Abruptly, an explosion echoed outside the plaza. In a brief moment, the whole place were field with people panicking and shouting in solicitude. A stampede occurred inside the plaza. The guards who were positioned at the gates were pulled by the mass movement of people at a common impulse trying to break out of the plaza in confusion.
"That's our signal!" Isidore said. The three quickly stood up from their seats and tried the break in on the opposite direction from the flow of movement of the people. They secretly barged inside the gate and close it shortly. At last, the three successfully got inside.
Among the chaotic hordes of people, Jeruzen secretly sneaks inside. With the majority of guards being sent outside to help the situation, he can easily take care of the remaining by himself. He waited for a moment where the civilians were cleared from the plaza and launch his first attack.
"Lightning Weaver: Helix Prison!" In conjunction with his five daggers, Jeruzen throws one on the ground at the center and scatters the remaining four midair creating a confinement of electrical voltage winding around the center and gradually receding from or approaching it. It looks the electricity emitting from him and the dagger were moving in a spiral like movement along the walls of the plaza. In a short period of time, the guards were knocked down.
"Hmph!" He released a short blab and clinched his fist as he smirked towards the unconscious bodies lying around him. He gathered his daggers by retracting them back to him. Then sent them flying towards the closed gate where Mizuki and the others entered earlier. The daggers pierced on the walls of the gate, afterwards emitting a strong electric shock at a high voltage to guard and lock the gate.
Outside, a fight between some of the members of the Orions and Midnight Justice was about to begin. After they started the explosion, Balthazar and Maku make sure that there is no civilian within the vicinity. They've evacuated all the townspeople in the area. It was clear that most of the residents were not afraid of them, in fact they praised them for standing up against the rotten government of the kingdom.
As the four devastated the area, imperial knights came in a swarm to stop them. All were equipped with magic and weapons but they easily annihilate the troops in a blink of an eye.
"Hmph! I thought there would be something more enticing." She glared toward the devastating scene in front of them. Suddenly, a strong gush of wind swoosh right through her that left her aghast and a small cut on her right cheek.
"My bad, it missed!" A psychotic voice of a woman riding on a hurricane appeared from above.
Faye tries to reached her fingers toward the slit on her cheek as the pain stings and tiny drops of blood spills out of it. Her eyes dimmed when she saw the wound on her gorgeous face that made her teeth gritted. "You're really dead to me." She said furiously as she sends series of attacks towards the enemy. Unfortunately, two more figures appeared and blocked the attacks.
"You're quiet on time sisters." The woman said.
"Seriously, you girls do sure love to make an entrance." Another figure appeared walking towards them, but this time it's a man.
With the emergence of four elite knights and known as the members of the Orions, a heated battle was about to begin between the two opposing groups.
