Hey guys, I'm sorry if anyone still wants to read this. I'm very much not happy with this book. So much so that I am completely rewriting it from start to finish. I feel like I rushed this story incredibly.
The 19 or so chapters I've release feel too fast. I mean the book is already a quarter of the way done and nothing has been explored of what is happening to the outside world. The first couple of evolutions are supposed to go fast, so they'll most likely stay the same but with less errors and a change to the system.
After magic is introduced, it's supposed to slow down immediately as the MC isn't supposed to evolve into a dragon until he has unlocked a draconic heart. I also forced the interaction with the hero where he kills people. That will be much better after the rewrite. I'm also not happy with the dialogue between him and Willow (Dryad girl).
I don't feel like I made the dialogue work with them. What kind of little girl sees a god damn DINOSAUR and isn't absolutely terrified?! I'm also getting rid of the human transformation, or rather I'm moving it back a few chapters. I don't see how a T-rex with no magic suddenly has a circle imprinted on its heart.
Another point, magic. I'm redoing the magic. It'll be based on a system that'll be present on all of my stories. At least, most of them. The whole circle system will stay, but classes will be introduced. MC of this story won't have a class but he will follow the same system.
Also, apparently some people missed the EVOLUTION in the title of the book. They thought the MC would stay a fucking fish forever. Hell nah. Fuck the ocean.
While I'm rewriting this story, I'll be writing another story called Grand Arch-Magus General, which follows a human MC who is, you guessed it, a grand arch-magus general. I feel that fantasy warfare is never really explored in any books so I wanted to write one. I'm incredibly happy with this story and I feel that I'm actually writing it right.
Anyway, expect a rewrite. The first 20 chapters will be posted immediately when the rewrite is finished.
