"Uugggrhhh, this beer sucks this weather, this city suck everywhere and everything sucks"
A 40-year-old man with a husky lower voice complains as he walks down a dark and narrow alley.
Suddenly, the faint sound of a crying child can be heard.
"Huh? WHA? I can hear a child crying hmm… maybe I'm just tired and stress. I really need a rest."
The Old Man continues to walk down the alley, but the screaming child's voice becomes increasingly louder. The voice can be heard from the alley's right corner.
"Huh there's really a child crying, a child was put on a Stock capsule what a poor soul."
The old man took the baby into his arms, and the baby stopped crying and stared at him.
'Who left you here, why did they leave you here; these were the thoughts that ran through the Old Man's mind; maybe your parents don't want you. I suppose you and I have a lot in common, don't we? Nobody wants an old man like me in this place.'
A letter is enclosed in the capsule, requesting that whoever adopts this child call him Lou.
"Ok, I suppose that's your name, Lou, and it's nice to meet you. I will be your guardian From now on."
The old man brought the boy to his home in District 9.
-----------
"Lou is now two years old, and he can walk on his two little feet. I guess they really do grow that quickly, huh? HE-HEEYYY Lou, please don't go there!!"
-----------
"Lou is now four years old and can communicate, but I believe he is speaking in an ancient language when he says Baa daaa toohh!! Lou even played with whatever piqued his curiosity, but don't worry, the house is babyproof."
------------
"Lou can now read and speak simple praises. When he is hungry, he says food, on a higher tone. Lou, who is six years old, seems to be a fast learner huh?"
Several years has past.
"Greetings, my name is Lou, and I am ten years old. Grandad was like a real parent to me, even though I don't know who or where my real parents are. We live in a slum with a lot of metals and stuff like a robotic arm, which is awesome, right?
In the morning, I always assist Grandpa in preparing our morning meal. After a stuffing breakfast, I do some basic chores such as assisting in the cleaning of the house. Although we have a bot that cleans the house, I usually tidy some things.
Something piques Lou's interest; every time the sun sets, Lou looks up to see this young child holding a book and wearing big ogly spectacles, pass by their house.
'When it's sundown this kid always has his book with him and walking somewhere.'
Lou secretly pursued him thus watching him out of curiosity. Lou crosses a lot of areas where there's this narrow spot where you have to crouch to get through, scaling scraps of metals.Lou and the kid arrive at their destination.
A dazzling place on a high point hill, where you can see the sun and the district above the horizon and vast clouds, where the wind whispers to the ears, while the sunlight attracts the stars and makes the district tinsel, it's truly remarkable and breathtaking place.
"Woah so this is where you've been going huh," Lou said. The kid replied!
"Wh-what!? W-Who are you, exactly? "With a tense voice and a surprised expression!
"Hello, from district 9, my name is Lou" Lou presents a joyful response and a smiling face to himself.
Lou asks the boy, "So What is your name?"
"I-uhh, my name is Kol from District 9; I really didn't think anyone was after me…"
"Well, I got curious to meet you Kol, so I followed you here. Don't worry I'm not going to show other people your hiding place. What are you doing here by the way?".
" I-I Always come here now and then when I want to relax and read my book. I always have fun when I'm a-alone and when reading. I don't have friends the only thing that makes me happy is my book. I stumble to this place a long time ago while running awa- no, I mean adventuring."
"Hmm, why did he almost say run away; from what, from whom, well better not ask him that.
Lou answers Kol with a joyous face, "then I can be your first friend."
While Kol at the beginning had many doubts as to whether or not he trusted Lou, he saw Lou's eyes full of passion and honesty. The boy is now trying to open up and accepts the offer from Lou.
Lou asks Kol several questions, which Kol answers. Following their lengthy talk, both children are now on their way home.
"I will go that way, Hey Lou, thank you for today."
"See you again, Kol, tell me many stories again tomorrow"
While walking, Lou smells something delectable, and as he gets closer to their house, the delectable aroma makes his stomach grumble.
"I think Grandad is cooking my favorite dish" Lou opened the door, and as he did so, he saw his Grandad and smiled as he said, "Welcome home Lou, how's your day?" I prepared your favorite dish".
With an empty stomach, and an irresistible aroma; Lou excitedly go to the table, just like a dog that was waging its tail to its master.
Lou is now seated across from his grandfather, waiting to eat his food. They both pray before eating their food, and after the prayer, Lou devours his food like a lion who hasn't eaten in a month.
Every bite of the meat was enjoyed, the softness, texture, tenderness, and juiciness of the meat; every bite of the meat produced a satisfying smell that burst on the mouth, and the sauce added more depth flavor to the meat.
After biting the meat, it melts in the mouth like a cloud in the sky, with flavors as sweet as chocolate and as sour as a fresh orange, followed by a punch of seasonings from the heavens.
While they were eating, Lou told his grandpa that he had made his very first friend, Kol.
After hearing Lou's long and exciting story, Old Man Greg speaks to him seriously.
"Hey, Lou. Look, I've decided that now is the appropriate time to begin your training and to teach you everything I know in order for you to be safe in the future."
Old man Greg said this to Lou with a deadpan face and a sincere tone in his voice, and Lou responded with a joyful smile to his grandfather. "I understand Grandad"
"Lou I need you to get up early tomorrow, so settle down now and get a good long rest."
'Oaahhhh! It sounds like a hassle, but I'd best do it since Grandad would scold me if I don't, and it'll be a pain in the ass"!
Lou is getting ready to sleep. While living in a rundown house, the bathroom has two parts: a sink on the left side of the door, close to the sink there's a glassy type monitor for the temperature of the water and a bathtub on the other corner, the walls are shape and design that look like honeycombs, Lou set the temperature of the water to warm for him to dip in the tub.
Lou is thinking about his day and his friend's story, and he realizes that the world is a big place with a lot for him to discover.
Lou returns to his room after having a bath and rests for the night.
