That night, we both slept at different room. After telling me that we can sleep in his room., I couldn't hide my discomfort.

FLASHBACK

The feeling of discomfort flashed my face. He took one look at it and understood what it meant.

Without saying anything, he led me to the bedroom right across his, opened the door and pulled me inside. He smiled at me before kissing me in the forehead.

"Good night, My Lady..." his tone was neither warm nor cold. It was just neutral. His eyes flashed sadness while he kept his poker face.

"My Prince, are you alright?" I asked him in confusion.

He sighed before giving me a genuine smile. "You need not to worry about me, My Lady... You've tired yourself enough today. Take a rest and we'll continue tomorrow. " he said in finale.

Pushing my confusion away, I nodded in agreement. With that, he gave me a last kiss on the forehead before closing the door shut. Leaving me alone in the room.

I looked back at the door and felt a pang in my heart.

"What was that? Is it me or did he look sad and impatient at the same time?" I asked myself before gently flipping on the bed.

I slept after tiring myself out analyzing and figuring out what made him from a happy, enthusiastic and sweet Prince to a sad, impatient and secretive one.

END OF FLASHBACK

The bright sun peeking through the windows woke me up. I stretched as I looked at the time on the clock beside me. It was already 8 am in the morning.

"I'm really back.. Am I?" I asked myself before finally getting off the bed.

My feet steeped onto a paper bag causing me to gasp in suprise. "What is this?" Picking up the bag, I realized that inside were underwear, shirt and Jeans.

Inside, there was also letter.

*Everything you need is inside, I got it from your room. You left these here. -Dia*

It was a letter from my Aunt. I smiled before putting it on the bed and walking towards the bathroom.

After washing, I got dressed and dried my hair before putting it in a high ponytail. "This curl is really messy." I complained about my hair before going out the room.

Seeing the door of the Prince's room. I gained courage before knocking on it. "Ahem. My Prince? Are you awake?" I asked before knocking on the door.

No response.

"My Prince?" I asked again. This time, I put my ear against the door just to see if I could hear a response.

"Pardon my Intrusion, but what you are doing is a crime against his highness's privacy and rights." A cold voice startled me from behind.

Yibo had his eyebrow raised at me, while his eyes were full of judgement.

I rolled my eyes at him. "It's not what you think, okay? I was just wondering if I could hear any response."

"The Prince is already having his meal downstairs." He said before walking past me and into the door of the Prince's room. "I wonder what have got the Prince so pissed this early in the morning." He said before finally closing the door.

The Prince is pissed? why though?

I walked fast down the stairs and hurriedly ran through the dining room. I composed myself before peeking to see the Prince.

To my dismay, all I saw was a long and antique empty table with an empty plate in front of an empty chair. It had freshly cooked dishes in front of it, with maids around bowing their heads.

"Ummmm.... H-Hello?" I greeted the maids as I entered the room and stood in front of the dishes. The maid bowed their heads once more as an old woman in a maid's attire came forward.

"Greetings, My Lady. We are the official maids of the Prince." She said in a gentle voice as she courtesy.

'Is it me or does she look like my dead grandma?' I thought.

I did the same as she did and finally net her eyes. This old lady is no maid, her eyes are full of authority, that's for sure.

"Greetings to you, too. When we arrived at this place, it was eerily quite and undeniably empty. May I ask when you arrived?" I asked while politely smiling at her.

She pulled the empty chair in front of the dishes and smiled at me. "We arrived just before everyone woke up, My Lady. The Prince ordered us to cook the tastiest food this morning, My Lady. Please enjoy your meal." She said before bowing her head once more, and entering the kitchen with all the other maids.

I tried to reach her shoulder but remembered my manners. "I just wanted to ask, where the Prince went..." I sighed in disappointment.

I ate a handful of food before standing up to continue finding the Prince.

It is still 9:30 am in the morning. After exiting the mini-mansion, I was greeted by warriors training under the sun. With their shirts off.

"Ahem. I think it is quite too early for me to get a nosebleed." I reminded myself before scanning the whole place to see any traces of the Prince.

"Hey, pretty lady." An annoying voice came from behind me. "You're back early, missed me?"

I rolled my eyes before turning to look at him. "Jasce. Are you not fully awake yet? Are you still sleeping and dreaming?" I asked him with a smirk.

The smug on his face disappeared and was replaced with a gentle smile. "I really like this side of you, Zara." He said which took me by suprise. "Or rather, I really like you... a lot actually." He said yet again, not waiting for me to recovery from the first blow.

I blinked as I saw a small cunning smirk at the corner of his mouth. I praised myself as an evil idea popped in my head. "Do you really mean that?" I asked in a shy and tiny voice.

His act dropped as his eyes widened in shock. "W'what do you.. ah... m-mean?" He stuttered as his face turned white.

I acted shy a little bit more and curled the ends of my hair to add to the shy and cute factor. "Well... Now that Jasce has said it himself..." I stopped to look at his now red face. ".. I guess I could say that I liked Jasce too." I said. As I leaned over to his bare chest and poked it. He gasped in suprise as he stiffened.

"Actually, like is a bit of an understatement to what I actually feel... I think I love Jasce far too much..." I said holding out my laugh.

My brain is already bleeding from everything I just said. I looked at him with a pout. He was speechless.  The look of suprise on his face was just too much that I couldn't hold my laugh anymore.

"PUAHAHAHAHAHHA! YOU FELL FOR IT! PUAHAHAHH!" I teased him while holding my stomach that was hurting from too much laughter. I was actually crying and rolling on the ground because it was already too much.

Jasce was too taken aback that it took him a good few seconds before his brain processed the embarrassment he just took.

He was pissed while looking at me. "HA. HA. HA. very funny." He said dryly before taking his exit and walking away from me.

I wiped my tears from laughter and heaved to compose myself once more. "Hahahah.. ridiculous." I whispered to myself before finally calming down.

I watched Jasce's shrinking back from where I stand and caught a glimpse of the Prince walking out from the Weapons Shack. He was surrounded by Aunt Dia, Peter and Fred, the owner of the shack.

I walked towards their direction slowly. It was obvious that they were talking about something important as to why their faces were serious.

I was halfway through them when The Prince surprisingly looked at my direction and stopped talking for a while. He stared at me while I became fixated from where I stand. My eyes widened in shock, I averted my gaze from him and pretended to be looking somewhere else.

After a few seconds I peeked at them and saw him sigh before turning around and walking to the opposite direction.

I frowned as I took a step forward then stopped.

'Where... is he going?'

Frustrated, I turned around and walked towards the pack house. "Just what is the problem?" I asked myself before going upstairs to go to my old room.

After going in, I slammed the door shut and flopped on my bed. String at the ceiling. I questioned myself,

What the heck is happening? Just yesterday he was so protective, obsessive, possessive, and sweet! Not to mention his promises! Just what happened at the balcony that made him freaking change!

I covered my face and kicked my feet on the edge of the bed.

*CLACK!*

I froze at the sound. Confused, I sat up on my bed and looked under. I saw my shoulder bag with an arrow fallen outside it.

I pulled the bag out from under the bed and took the arrow out. It was the arrow that was pierced on the chest of that mysterious man I encounter in the woods!
