Chapter 99 - Chapter 99- Temptation

Wilson followed the map and if he was doing it right - which he was sure he was - he ought to arrive there by the next morning. Wait, no, probably afternoon since it was already dusk and he didn't think it was a good idea to keep moving after dusk. He needed to find a shelter quickly.

He walked as quietly as he could while he looked around. He had watched a few videos about surviving in the woods. For shelter, he knew he had no chance of making himself a tent. Might as well, find a tree that he could climb and camouflage in to spend the night. He walked on for quite a distance and came upon a set of trees that might serve his purpose. In fact, in the distance, he saw a tree that called to him, but there was a problem. For inevitable reasons, he would not be able to avoid stepping on the leaves and twigs that was everywhere on the ground. This meant, that his silent movement was about to get noisy.

Wilson sighed and walked on his tiptoes placing them at selective positions on the ground, doing his best to avoid the leaves and twigs that would make the loudest noise.

*crack*

A twig broke underfoot and in this eerily dark and quiet setting - where there was not even the sound of birds or insects - it was very loud! But it was not caused by Wilson's foot! It came from behind him. Wilson looked back very quickly and noticed a small movement at a spot. He saw a long shadow that depicted a humanoid figure was ding its best to hide behind a tree to avoid being seen. Unfortunately, the shadow had given it away.

Wilson looked back at his front. He stood still on his toes and thought of every possible reason, their possible consequences on him and how he should deal with those consequences. He came up with a few simple solutions for the many effects and tiptoed on; his steps faster than before as he listened more attentively to the sounds behind him and paid extra attention to the number of trees and the speed at which the sun set. His plan was to get to that big tree rooted a few trees ahead; The trees around it were more closely packed than the rest by a lot.

*crunch* * crunch* *crack* *crack*

Wilson walked.

*crack* *crack* *crack* *crack*

Whoever was following behind was moving faster as well; he or she was running and was becoming less cautious. As a result, his or her footsteps made more noise. Perhaps the follower or maybe tracker was more accurate; was either trying to use the noise to put pressure on Wilson or perhaps that person was just trying to catch up to Wilson. Maybe to form a kind of alliance - no one knew.

Either way, Wilson was paying attention, resisting the urge to look back too quickly. His plan for the person coming from behind was simple; when the person got closer, he was going to give him or her a hard right palm to the nose, push him or her face first to the floor and restrain the person's movements by placing his knee on the back. Oh, maybe place a dagger at the person's jugular for better threat effect. After all, right now, he could only trust his fist. He knew no one and no one ought to know him.

"Hey..." the person following Wilson called and touched his right shoulder.

'Too short! Change of plans!' Wilson thought and grabbing the hand on his shoulder with his left hand, he pulled. At the same time, he swung his right elbow backwards to where he believed the person's head was. With the inertia of two opposing moves, the impact on the short person was stronger.

*Bang*

His elbow hit the forehead with a painful bang.

"ugh...." The person groaned.

Wilson pulled the hand again and threw the short person over his shoulder.

"Aaaah!" The voice cried out midair.

"Ugh!" And groaned as she landed on her back, facing the sky, or rather; the green leaves of the thickly packed set of trees.

The follower was a girl. A little developing girl with brown bangs and beautiful sea blue eyes and a blush on her cheeks. She was putting on a short dress with flower patterns. A Loli - that was what Jim called them, right?

That did not matter. He went down on one knee and pulled his dagger from the side of his boot and placed it on her neck.

"Wait, wait, please wait! Don't kill me!" She spoke fast.

Wilson stopped his dagger mere centimeters away from her neck.

"please.." She begged, blinking her eyes.

Wilson blushed. Damn! Jim was right! This lolitas are truly, really, very cute and alluring.

'Get your head together, Wilson! You can't possibly have such thoughts for such little girls.' Wilson thought to himself and hurriedly closed his eyes and shook his head.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Ally. Alliance. I want an alliance." She answered.

"What?" Wilson did not expect that. An alliance? In this place? Nope, not with someone he did not know and trust. He had long learned his lesson.

"Let's have a temporary alliance. Just for the night." She said. Her face beaming with confidence. Sh*t, too cute.

Wilson had to close his eyes and shake his head again. He couldn't possibly be having such thoughts. Could it possibly be puberty? 'Damn! Sh*t! F-word!' Wilson cursed. He had told himself to not use the f- related words. They were too vulgar for him. His mom had taught him well.

"Why should I?" He asked, avoiding her bright, sexy eyes.

"Because it is not good for man to be alone." She replied.

"Huh?" That stunned him. The direction she seemed to be taking this conversation...

"What do I have to profit from this...alliance?" He asked another question.

"Because one head is good, two heads are better! Four limbs are great but eight limbs are even better!" She responded with a sweet smile.

'What is with this philosophical words?' Wilson asked himself. His eyes wandered everywhere on her body except her face. That face was too 'killer'.

"Okay, first of all, close your eyes and lie on your belly." He said.

"What?" Now the little girl was the one who got stunned. 'He can't possibly be thinking..'

"Don't make me stab you!" Wilson growled out his warning.

She quickly turned around, lying flat on her tummy.

"Please don't hurt me!" She pleaded, covering her head with her hands. Wilson did not hear her though; he was already regretting his decision. He was having a hard time controlling himself. His thoughts went haywire.

'Ah, Perky butts! F*ck!" He cursed. "How can one little girl be so attractive. She is probably only twelve. Sh*t! Is this how I become a villain? No, no, no! That I was called a rapist once does not give me a right to actually rape. Not to mention that it is strictly against Tiger City laws. But, hell! How come I am being tempted like this?' He stood up.

"Keep your face down!" He said.

"Please don't hurt me!" She repeatedly whispered, crying quietly.

Wilson could hear her. He shook his head again, trying to clear his bad thoughts. Does she not realize how much of a turn on that actually is? God! What kind of temptation is this. His little friend that was always hidden behind his pants and underwear had lost control.

"Hmm-hmm! No way!" Wilson shook his head. He refused to do such horrible things. Seems like in the end, he will have to restrain himself with his own fists. It was after all his most reliable ally. This was going to hurt and he knew it. He understood the consequences very well. Just then:

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY BABY SISTER?" A masculine voice yelled.
