Chapter 95 - Chapter 95- Wilson vs Dash

Dash literally dashed at Wilson, his right hand gripping his matte black dagger tightly. Wilson merely saw a blur and instinctively raised his hands to block his face and neck. He made the right call.

*clang* *clang* *clang* *clang* *clang*

Five consecutive clangs resounded in less than two seconds, causing a droning ring in everyone's ears. Wilson felt a strong impact against his arms.

'Strong!' He thought.

He did not give himself much time to think. After all Wilson's moves were usually by instinct. Whenever he was on the offensive, his body would usually have already begun moving before his thoughts could catch up. Only when he was defending would he give himself time to think.

He swung a right hook. Dash did not even have to dodge. Dash, being a speedster, was already behind Wilson before the hand could reach the point of impact. To him, Wilson's hook was moving too slowly.

Dash swung his dagger again and carelessly slashed and cut Wilson's back, making him bleed. Wilson, after feeling the pain from the cuts, jumped forward and rolled twice before turning around to look behind him at Dash, but Dash was much, much faster than Wilson. By the time Wilson turned around, Dash had already dashed and was already behind him again.

This time, he stabbed Wilson's left thigh.

"Ugh!" Wilson groaned and swung his arm, hoping to hit Dash.

Dash easily dodged the swing by merely moving his head backwards.

At the side, the host, Horr, was playing the role of a sole commentator.

######

"Oof! That swing would have hurt! Such a pity Dash is way too fast for the Balls Crusher." Horr commented from the side.

######

Wilson suddenly felt a wave of heat by his right side and he leaped to his left. Unfortunately for him, Dash was already waiting for him there. The wave of heat was a decoy that Dash used frequently to confuse opponents. It was a very annoying skill because it made his opponents make the wrong judgements. Dash stabbed Wilson's left thigh again. At the exact same spot and twisted his dagger, messing the leg up even more.

######

"Another stab to the left thigh. What does Dash see? Why is he stabbing the left thigh of our dear baby faced Wilson? Does he see a weakness? Trying to create a weakness? Or perhaps, he has a strange penchant for the left thigh? I mean,I don't know about all you, but I have been hearing all sorts of stories recently." Horr said, exaggerating a little bit at the end.

######

Dash ran around Wilson, cutting him at random but none of them were fatal or to his vital organs. He was either messing with Wilson or was just bering considerate.

Whichever reason it might be, the fact remained that Wilson was facing a dilemma. He was injured getting more and more injured by the second. He was losing more blood with every cut and stab but he was not feeling dizzy yet. His mind wasn't foggy yet.

He leaped backwards again and narrowly escaped another stab to his abdomen. He felt his back touch the ropes of the ring and in his peripheral vision, he saw a pointy, moving blur coming from his left.

Wilson, as quickly as he could, moved his head to the right side. He moved his head between the upper and middle ropes and dove out as quickly as he could, landing outside the ring. He further rolled backwards, his blood staining the floor.

The audience raised their voices, and booed at him. Get in the ring. Some of them said. They were dissatisfied. For whatever reason they could come up with, Wilson was not fighting the way they wanted or expected. Some thought his jumping out was cowardly and dumb. Horr thought differently though and he made it clear in his comment.

######

"Hehe! That was a smart move there. Using the ropes to his advantage when cornered. Doesn't that just seem like something Balls Crusher would do?" Horr's voice was calm as he said these words.

######

Hearing Horr once again say something that was somewhere between smart, dumb and unnecessary, Jim, Vox and Bar shook their heads pitifully. Horr's commentary was fast getting out of control. What nonsense was he spewing? Was there no difference between crushing balls and giving yourself some respite by leaping out of the ring through the ropes?

Three.... four... five...

The counting had already started. The live audience were counting out alongside a computerised counter, which was a simple program that would automatically start the count when it recognised that the wrestler was outside. It counted in a beautiful woman's voice that made the men drool just from the sound. They could not even begin to imagine just how beautiful the owner of the voice was. Only if they knew that Horr could do voices!

Wilson stayed in his position. His eyes not leaving Dash. The crowd booed and jeered at him for being a coward but he could not even hear them at this moment. All his focus was on Dash, as he tried his hardest to come up with a strategy.

Dash stood in the ring by the ropes, no words were said. He just continued to look down at Wilson as Wilson looked up at him.

Eight...

Wilson suddenly heard and immediately he rushed into the ring.

Nine....

He slid into the ring. Dash instantly crounched and stabbed downwards, barely a second after Wilson stood up. Wilson could never have guessed that this his opponent was going to stab his foot.

"Aaaaaaaaahhh!" Wilson yelled in pain. His right foot hurt like hell. This b*stard! He reached down and perhaps, because the universe itself thought him pitiful, successfully grabbed Dash's head with both his hands. He mustered his strength and squeezed his annoying opponent's head very tightly. Dash loosened his grip and grabbed Wilson's gauntlet-covered hands. He wanted to release that iron grip before it would burst his head. Wilson had had enough. He knew his only chance to win was not to let go. With a loud grunt, he raised his left leg and gave the strongest, rage-filled knee strike he could muster.

*Crack*

A loud crack shut the whole underground 'stadium' up.

Blood oozed out of Dash's forehead. Blood oozed out of his eyes. Blood oozed out of his nose. Blood oozed out of his mouth and ears.

Wilson felt dizzy and released Dash's head. Dash's immobile body fell. Wilson fell after, his right foot still impaled to the ring. He fell unconscious - He had lost too much blood.
