Charlotte was getting ready for her wedding anniversary.
She put on valuable jewels which gave her an excellent outlook. She wore her bridal dress, which she wore on her wedding day. It was her first year of wedding. She ate her breakfast, took a bouquet and drove her car herself and she headed towards the...Graveyard.
Yes. She lost her husband a couple of months back in a car accident. Her husband was Steve. Charlotte reached the graveyard and parked the car under a tree and moved in.
"I won't leave you alone." Those words of Steve echoed in her ears. And, he left her alone.
There was no one surrounding Charlotte and she moved further in and reached the grave of Steve.
"Come find me, Charlotte. Wherever I go, you'll find me." Those words of Steve ran in her mind. Now, he's dead and she is closer to his grave. And, did Charlotte find Steve? Yes, but no.
She placed the bouquet on Steve's grave. Her eyes looked at the name, Steve.
"Wake me up, honey. I've got to go to the office soon." Those words of Steve echoed in her ears. How could she wake him up? He is in a deep sleep which has no end. Yeah, his end led to a sleep with no end.
She sat closer to his grave. Will Steve come up and sit closer to her?
"Steve..." said Charlotte, "I'm Charlotte."
Charlotte's heart got filled with regrets and sorrows. Getting married to the most caring person and living happily for ten months and losing him in an instant and sitting closer to his grave and waiting for him to speak...is a hell of pain.
"I miss you, Steve." she said. "I miss you..." she wept and laid on Steve's grave.
"Come back, Steve!" she cried, "Let's go home!"
"Hey!" came a voice from nowhere.
Charlotte rose up and looked around her.
"Steve, is that you?" she asked curiously.
What's happening? Is Steve back alive?
"How are you, honey?" came a voice.
"Where are you Steve!?" asked Charlotte in surprise.
"I emerge from the place where I was seeded" came a voice.
Instantly, Charlotte sat closer to Steve's grave and kept her ears on the grave and said, "Hey, hey, You hear me?"
"Of course, honey." Steve replied.
"Please come back, Steve! Please." Charlotte pleaded in tears.
Will Steve come back alive for his beloved wife? Will Charlotte get back her husband from death? Will they lead a happy life? Or...
"The sun has to set, honey." replied Steve.
"No! Please don't leave me in pain, Steve." said Charlotte.
"I'll be always there for you, Char. You have to move on...without me." said Steve.
"I can't." yelled Charlotte.
"Learn, then. I love you, Charlotte. Always." said Steve.
"Come back!" shouted Charlotte as she smacked the grave in rage. She wept hard and hard.
"Hey, lady what are you doing there?" said the security of the graveyard.
Charlotte didn't answer. She looked at the grave of Steve. She picked a rose from the bouquet and placed it on the grave which would be closer to Steve's heart.
She left the graveyard with heart full of pains.
The rose which was kept by her on the grave penetrated into the grave and it reached Steve's heart.
-THE END-
