The time flew painfully slow, and yet, the moon has finally risen to the top. Fortunately, we both have cleared any romantic misunderstanding that might lead to an uncomfortable first night. Even so, it was still an unfortunate day for me.
I couldn't and didn't dare to bring up my childish wish when Wystan "begged" for it. Technically, he DID beg me to give him a chance and prove it was his doing. But I couldn't open up and share with him - that I want him to manipulate the whole Taaffeitians to attend the wedding.
Not only was it to save my embarrassment, but at least I wouldn't have any high hopes should his words be nothing but empty promises. Of course, it wouldn't sit well with me knowing the Taaffeitians attended MY biggest event by manipulation. I know I'm sad, but how low do I have to go?
