Now there were more questions for Daniel and Wendy to solve.
"Aunt Lis is sleeping on the couch, Dan. Then after that, the hunchbacked monster came."
"The flying monsters came first." Daniel corrected.
"Ok, I mean that," Wendy said quickly. "So could Aunt Lis be that hunchbacked monster?"
The two of them were in the house, just welcomed the arrival of Uncle Ted who got a lot of livestock from the forest. It seemed that these animals used to be livestock from residents, but were released when the disaster struck.
"I still don't know," Daniel muttered, deep in thought. It was evening, and Uncle Ted wasn't home. Aunt Lis was unwell, so the man drove her to the nearest clinic.
There was a clinic that had opened not far from their house. And the two teenagers were left alone at home.
