Like a dreamt, Uncle Ted could hardly believe his own eyes. Just a moment ago he had been standing guard on the other side, hearing some screaming and debating sounds. And not long after that, his name was called.
Uncle Ted thought it was nothing until he finally caught two teenage figures he knew. Unknowingly his tore rose, and his steps sped up to pick up Daniel and Wendy.
The hug was tight, and the breath rose and fell. "Where have you been? My nephew, where have you been all this time?"
"What do you mean, Uncle?" Wendy frowned, thinking Uncle Ted was overreacting and playing a prank on her. Wendy knew her mistake had angered Uncle Ted, but this method was too old-fashioned.
Everyone looked at them, even though they were still in their respective guard formations. They smiled when they saw that Uncle Ted had finally found his family again.
