"We lost our cell phones? When? Why can't I remember it at all?" Wendy raved trying to annoy Daniel. Finding her cousin did not answer Wendy was thinking hard. But no matter how hard she remembered, there wasn't a trace she could find.
"The phone is off." Daniel rushed to find a nearby switch, then pressed it. "The electricity went out too." The boy came out of the house without asking Wendy, went to the door to get out.
Wendy followed behind. "And, when do we lose our phones?"
"A few days ago. Did you forget right? I know. Maybe because you hit your head in the kitchen yesterday." Daniel looked for an excuse, walked through the living room, and found an empty street. He was looking for something.
"Huh, yesterday? In the kitchen? I don't remember anything. And wait! Come to think of it I don't remember the memory after I got out of Catty's camp."
"Because you hit your head there."
