Panic, screams, and chaos were words that quite adequately define the situation in each of the ships that left on the expedition to the celestial pearl island. The storm surrounding the island was too intense and brutal, having almost sunk a couple of ships just half an hour after entering the area.
In the case of the ship in which Claire and the rest were traveling, thanks to the joint efforts of the girls, much of the crew had been kept safe by hiding behind the enormous barrier invoked by Cecilia. Although no one knew the reason, everyone was more than happy to see how all the lightning heading in their direction ended up deflecting to hit nothing but the sea.
