Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 I have with me all the power of a rabbit.

Did anyone know that the smell of blood can attract powerful predators from very far distances? Apparently, it is widespread survival knowledge not to stay near places where fresh corpses reside; If I had to give a reason to mention this right now, that reason would be the brutal massacre that is taking place 30 meters behind me. Maybe I should go back a couple of minutes in time to clear things up.

(five minutes before)

Shortly after leaving the place with the corpses of the aqua rabbits, a large number of predators began to arrive at the area. These only growled at first, but these began to tear each other apart from one moment to another, and things only became more savage after that.

The good news is that I was not involved because I had gotten away from the center of it soon enough. I even captured a couple of records of those predators in the hunter's book.

elemental affinity: wood.

Materials: Fur is an excellent material for capes and robes enchanted with wood elements. Their antlers are the raw material for magic staves.>

elemental affinity: fire.

Materials: its leather helps make fire-resistant equipment. Fangs and Claws can be used to put a fiery enchantment on weapons.>

elemental affinity: earth.

Materials: Bones are a defensive enchantment material. The heart serves as the core material for enchanted armor.>

elemental affinity: wind / metal.

Materials: its entire exoskeleton is composed of an extremely valuable biometal useful in crafting highly defensive enchanted armor. The gigantic claws it possesses can be used to create enchanted heavy swords. The heart is a great core material for magical wind element weapons.>

Bless my luck, that last one is gigantic. It seems ridiculously strong. . . I correct myself; it is powerful. I just watch it tear apart the other poor little animals of the forest to pieces with tremendous ease; That's right, compared to that thing, the others are just helpless cute little creatures.

These are not even in the same league. The few magical animals I have seen look a lot like their earthly counterparts with only a few minor variations like skin markings, horns, or antlers, all of which show its elemental affinities, but the Skyr Ventis was different.

Its appearance resembles the strange fusion of a praying mantis with a gorilla and a jet-powered vehicle, the latter not even a life form; plus, the peculiar creature is simply too big.

Hmm, I should definitely go to a more distant place from that thing; it turns out that I really like being alive, and seeing the skyr ventis in action strongly reminded me of this fact.

Thinking about it, all the things analyzed by the hunter's book seem to fall under a star rating and level; it probably has to do with the level of strength or energy. I wonder what ranking I am in. Hmm, I can probably learn that through the status function.

Title: Not available. (Only available after being a Hunter Class 1 Star.)

Strength Level: Zero-Star Class, Low-Level

Skills: No skills.

Hunter Credits: 0.>

Desmond Astryd indeed turns out to be my name. I'm not entirely surprised that I don't have a title. In fact, it would be weird to have one; the abilities are probably some kind of magic power or espér. Nor is it strange to me not to have the so-called Hunter Credits that I assume are the common currency used by the association.

And that's it, oh wait, I missed a slight detail; the level of strength, let's see. . . Hum Hum, I certainly look mighty; this athletic and seductive body of my harbors all the power of. . . a rabbit.

I mean, it's a magical rabbit and all that, but I can't help but feel pretty pathetic about my position on the food chain. Just remembering how the Skyr Ventis slaughtered many creatures that share my power level makes me realize that surviving in this forest will not be as easy as I thought.
