Desmond Astryd could be considered a relatively complex man and quite simple at the same time, in essence despite his many peculiarities Desmond would do anything to keep those he loved safe.
And that's where Desmond was a bit strange because despite how fickle he can be in his relationships, the list of people who fell into that category for Desmond was only a few. For many years the only person Desmond loved and cared for was Claire, no matter who Desmond spent his nights with or who he shared a bed with; that fact had not changed.
It was not until his unexpected trip to the Serefia forest that Desmond met Kyuru the mischievous little fairy to whom Desmond felt indebted, the adorable personality and playful attitude of that cute fairy had easily won the love of not only Desmond but also also from Claire.
