"Let's begin, Wolfe. Tell me about anything strange that may have occurred around the Vilhorm estate recently. How is Ray's relationship with his parents? Is there any reason you think could get Ray kidnapped?"
Wolfe took a moment to think before speaking.
"As far as I've known, Ray doesnt have a good relationship with his father. Even on the day that Mr. Haik told us that he was sending me to Zychs, Ray lashed out but was very quickly shut down by his father.
"He had one person he was close to. Mr. Schelo. I don't recall his last name, but whenever I was asked by him to call Ray over, Ray was always enthusiastic and smiling.
"The police had visited the Vilhorm mansion too. I overheard some stuff about mister Schelo being said, but I can't place my finger on it. But after that day, me and Ray pretty much ended up here. Neither of my parents can write, so I haven't received any letters regarding further developments."
