Mith plopped down on a barstool, Seth sitting down elegantly next to him. "Are all angels like you?" Mith asked just staring at him. Seths cheeks turned a lite pink. "wh...what do you mean?" "You carry yourself with a bit of...arrogance?" "Oh...yes. Rickey tried to break me off that habit when we were kids." Seth shrugged and Mith rolled his eyes. "What is it with that girl? Why is everyone so damn fascinated with a simple human?" The bartender approached and placed a beer in front of Mith and a sex on the beach in front of Seth who looked confused. "Mind reader demon." "Oh...of course. And I've known Rickey for a good portion of my life...we were at the same orphanage and got adopted together. She showed up when she was five...covered in blood. No memories. Mith was peeling the label off of his beer bottle, not looking at Seth. Seth grabbed his drink and took a sip before responding. "Though she protected me...I was asked by God to be her guardian angel. So I've been following her around since he assigned me to her. I do...I do love her. But not in a romantic way. She is my sister and I just want her to be safe...and happy." he looked down at his drink, sadness crossing over her face. Mith downed his beer and slammed it on the bar. "But what about your happiness?!" Taken back by Miths sudden anger Seth wasn't sure how to respond. "My happiness?" "Yes my angel! what about your happiness? You follow that girl around like a lost puppy!" "...all I've ever known is her..her happiness is my own..." Seth took another sip of his drink. Mith reached over and took the drink from his hand, placing it on the bar and took his hands in his own. "Seth, you are something outside of her. Your own happiness matters. She didn't make you. God made you but...you have free will! First thing that comes to mind, don't over think, what do you want to do right now that would make you smile?" "Hug you." Seth said automatically and his cheeks turned bright red. "I! I mean if that would be okay!" he stuttered. Mith dropped his hands and immediately pulled him in for a tight hug. The angel tensed up at first but relaxed wrapping his arms around the demon. He took in the demons fiery smell and laid his head on his shoulder. Even though he knew it would be a Sin, Seth wanted to so much more than a hug. he wanted to never be free of the strong comforting arms around him.
