The whispers passed around in the room as everyone still stared at the two. "Just like the academy...psycho as always." one of the humans mumbled. Rodrick shoved Rickey away hearing footsteps approach. He went to adjust his shirt and looked at his now coffee covered hands. He took a step back and ramned his foot on Rickeys. Despite wearing military boots, she flinched. Into the room walked a figure with no head. The humans in the room were taken aback but the demons didn't react. Rickey looked at where the figures face would be and she swear she felt eyes staring directly into her. A shiver went up her spine. As she shook her head a voice echoed in the room. "Welcome new detectives. Each of you were selected by your own leaders to be apart of a new organization of detectives. With the damned and the holy walking among humans, crime is still important to us all. We can no longer police just our own kind. We will work together to make sure those on deaths list are the only ones dying." the voice was dark but calming.
"You were each sent your partners file. Some of you went the actual mile to scope out your partners." Rickey felt her blood run cold as the non existent eyes back on her. "Those of you that have met your partner, please head to the front and find the file with your names. These will be your first case. Each of you will be working in sets of four." the headless man snapped his fingers and a stack of miles appeared on the table. "Best behavior my children." the last part was spoke to only the demons, who each nodded.
Rickey and Rodrick were the first to approach the stack. Both of them grabbed the file at the same time. "Let it go." the each ordered the other. "By the grace of Satan...Rodrick we can share. We are working together." Mith smacked his hand and waved his file. Seth walked to Rickey. "Well atleast we are working together." she wasn't paying attention as she read through the file. "First demon/human school...human teens are going missing for a day then returning with altered memories of who they are..." "No suspects. Total of 3 children a week go missing." Mith read outloud. "One of us need to go undercover." Rickey and Rodrick spoke in unison. "Is this gonna be the common thing? Are ya gonna morph into one person?" Seth glared at Rodrick. "Based off early they were one person." Mith smiled feeling Rodricks dark gaze. "I nominate Rickey. She looks like a teenager." Rodrick sighed calming down, thinking about the case. "I hated school the first time around...but let's do this."
