Lavena enters Vires' room. She immediately approached her son who was still lying stiff. Her anxiety grew even more considering that the young man had been unconscious for almost a week.
"Vires, when will you wake up?" Lavena asked while rubbing her son's head.
"It's been almost a week. Aren't you hungry?"
The person she spoke to remained silent. That question can only come out unanswered. Her son was still sick, still motionless. Seeing him like this really hurts.
Unknowingly tears fell down her cheeks. She gripped Vires' hand tightly. "How can you ignore your mother like this? At least . . . you should open your eyes. You should answer my questions," she demanded.
Lavena rubbed her cheek gently. "I didn't know it was so painful to see you like this," she muttered. Indeed, which mother would bear to see her child lose consciousness like that?
