"Come with us!" Lius commanded Namara. There had already been several bodyguards called in to help Lius check on Namara.
They came out of Vires' room and went to the maids' quarters. Namara followed behind them while counting her fingers repeatedly. Others who saw this must have thought she was anxious.
Arriving at the maid's quarters, Sysi stopped Lius. Even though she was only a butler, she had power over the maids' quarters.
"Why did Master Lius suddenly come with bodyguards?" asked Sysi.
Lius snorted coldly. "Don't get in our way! Did you know? One of your chosen maids is suspected of being the culprit for Young Master Vires' illness!"
Sysi and several others immediately looked at Namara who was at the back of the line. Namara kept her head down so they couldn't see her expression clearly.
"So you're going to search the room?" asked Sysi to which Lius immediately nodded.
