under the eyes of the audience, kai kissed faes on her lips making her stunned and her mind went black for a moment. faes felt his warmth as he held her close to him tightly. her arms on his chest while he held her waist using one hand and his other tangled in her hair at the back of her head pulling her head closer.
kai did not care about others and merely observed her eyes as they gradually turned grey again. he saw her close her eyes and lean forward reciprocating the kiss, only then did he relax.
kai closed his eyes and deepened the kiss. their first kiss. though he wanted it to be under different conditions, it was an emergency.
their lips moved in sync. faes felt her energy drain from her body and her legs began to feel weak. thankfully kai was holding her, they broke the kiss and leaned heir foreheads together panting slightly.
"thank you" faes whispered as she glanced at kai who looked more alive, he clearly absorbed the extra energy from her.
kai smiled at her and rubbed his thumb over her cheek as he felt her tiredness.
"uh? sister faes and brother kai kissed?" sky's voice was heard breaking their moment when faes widened her eyes and realization settled in her.
she clearly lost control over her powers and they began to take over her somehow, her energy running amok in her body. and kai kissed her taking her extra energy away and controlling her powers. but they were clearly not alone and there was also audience around, and in mystic fog castle!
"i asked sky to bring them here." kai immediately explained as to not bring any trouble to sky. faes nodded in understanding and glanced at the shocked faces of everyone other than their servants and sky. sky was even excited as she jumped down from blake's arms and towards faes while blake suddenly held her back glancing at faes and kai uncertain.
"brother blake?" sky frowned when blake stopped her from going towards faes and kai.
faes was also hurt but she simply pressed her lips together not bothering about it much as she could understand blake's worry. she just lost control of her powers and had a spar with sky.
"i am sorry baby, i would never hurt you" faes spoke softly to sky but she didn't move from kai's arms which were still tightly wrapped around her waist as he held her close to him.
she was used to it by now as he loved to hold and hug her whenever he could but currently, he was also helping her control her powers from going out of control again.
"i know, i sensed sister's worry and hurt previously!" sky nodded smiling and didn't fight with blake to go to faes as she sensed faes intention through their bond.
"faes? this-" augustus frowned. he was shocked to teleport to a mysterious place suddenly when he witnessed a shocking scene of his daughter kissing a man much older than her. he also saw blake's uncomfortable expression and understood that blake also did not know this man.
but sky and faes servants seem to be used to it meaning that they knew what this place was and who this man was.
"royal father, this is um" faes blushed slightly recalling their actions and current position and squirmed in kai's arms. that brat didn't let go!
"your majesty king augustus monesterio von altai, her majesty queen alicia von altai, your highness prince alexander monesterio von altai, her highness princess nia monesterio von altai, your highness prince blake shadowdragon de reptiliance. greetings i am faes boyfriend and THE kailial white." kai grinned as he saw the expression change all around him.
faes slightly turned her head and glared at kai. since when was he her boyfriend? but kai merely grinned tightening his hold on her.
"hold on, you are the kailial white? the legendary hero who died centuries ago?" augustus and blake were the most shocked of all as they have heard about kai and his feat before. but he was clearly dead then why was he standing in front of them with faes in his arms?
"yes, and i didn't die back then. i was merely injured and am still healing from that." kai answered their doubts.
"but what is this place? and what happened to you?" blake was the first to come out of shock in meeting kai, and even ignored him focusing on faes.
"i lost my cool slightly because of the intense emotions, rest assured i am fine now. kai is helping me control my energy." faes explained but even she wasn't sure about what exactly happened. it seem that she needs to have a proper talk with kai after settling everyone.
"and this place is called as mystic fog castle. my castle. welcome everyone, you guys can look around the place its quite safe!" faes grinned just as tony and tae li came out from the fields and forest on the front of the castle.
"faes!" both ignored everyone and checked on faes as they too had sensed her powers going out of control.
"these two!" augustus have seen tony before with faes and immediately recalled them.
"they are my guardians, tony and tae li." faes introduced everyone and even gave a simple introduction about mystic fog castle before she felt her consciousness blur.
"why don't you all look around, i need to rest for a while. tony, tae li you two help them look around" faes spoke as kai picked her up and went away under everyone's gaze.
"do these two normally act so intimate?" alicia was the one who asked this question.
"yes, but it was their first time kissing. they normally merely hug and feed each other and at most lord kai put princess faes and princess sky to sleep" robin answered just as everyone turn towards sky who was still in blake's arms
"yes, brother kai also makes tasty food for sky and sister faes and also teach us many things!" sky didn't find anything strange and praised kai like a good child.
