faes ignored the glances alex and nia were giving and dismissed the sound proof barrier she had put up.
she stood tall in front of pitiful number of servants.
"it's been five minutes, where are the rest?" faes asked Martha.
"they are busy working your highness, to run a castle needs a lot of work. you can't be as unreasonable as to call everyone here!" Martha spoke with her head held high as if she was scolding faes
"i did not ask you how a castle is run, i asked you where are the rest?" faes glared at the lady
"don't be a spoiled child! sure you ran away and now came back but you are still so spoiled and aloof! how can you brat be a pri-" she was unable to speak anymore as faes interrupted her
"shut it you bitch! sure i am a spoiled princess, but i am still a princess. how dare you disrespect me? do you know that a disrespecting a royal is a crime worth death?" faes finished speaking when gray pulled out a sword and walked towards Martha who widened her eyes in surprise but not fear.
"you think you can kill me? i am the head maid of this castle, if i die then all the servants would leave this place and there won't be anyone serving you here anymore" Martha glared at faes who grinned
"you think i need a servant in a castle that is in ruins?" as faes motioned eli stepped forward and chanted an incantation. soon a magic circle covering the entire area was formed.
faes used her magic to enhance her voice as she spoke again
"the people in this disgusting place, gather in the living area, if your are not here in one minute then i wont be responsible for your death."
faes met martha's eyes as she continued
"if you think this is but a joke, then you can leave this place you are dismissed from your jobs. if you want to rebel and disrespect me you can go die yourselves. if i got my hands on you later, hehehe! you would be begging me to let you die"
she then turned towards alex and nia who were now staring at her with wide eyes and in fear. she met their eyes with her cold one's. sure they were family but she barely had interacted with them, hence she did not have much emotions.
"robin" faes turned to robin who bowed
"keep my siblings safe and let them watch the grand spectacle of how spoiled a princess can be, and how ruthless a revenge can be"
she would not give them a way out just because they were her family. but they needed to know how she felt at that time when she was discarded.
in one minute there were more people in front of her but still not everyone arrived.
"eli" faes nodded to eli who raised his hand. the temperature of the castle began increasing until most of the servants were covered in sweat and soon the place began burning.
everything was burning, the doors, carpets, curtains, paintings, flowers, sofa, everything other than the living beings. though faes gray eli robin alex and nia were safe in a barrier where the temperature was slightly higher, the servants other than them were surrounded by flames.
"are you crazy? how dare you burn this place?" Martha screeched shocked
"you ask why i burn it? because~ I. HATE. PINK." faes spoke in a slow yet loud tone so that everyone heard her.
"i am an spoiled princess no? then i would burn everything i don't like, anyways this is MY castle. you don't have to worry, it's just the beginning." faes laughed as she noticed the servant's expressions that finally showed fear, though it still screamed that she was crazy.
"you are crazy!"
"what about those who are not here? did you just kill them?"
"you don't have the right to burn ev-"
"SHUT IT" faes glared at the servants who finally showed slight fear
"this place is mine from the moment i was born, i was born a princess, but have any of you given me the respect one should be given? NO! whatever you have done in the past will come back tenfold. this is just your retribution. oh one more thing-" faes grinned and walked out of the barrier she was inside of. the heat and fire not affecting her in the least.
"you guys have always known that i can't cultivate right?" faes asked but she was walking among the servants. her heels making defining sound amid the cracking of fire all around
"ofcourse you cant cultivate, you are just a trash"
"a joke to the royal family. what is the use of the princess who can't cultivate?"
"shut it!" alex who finally came to realize faes actions shouted. he couldn't hear it anymore.
similarly nia also had tears flowing down her eyes as she glanced around in shock.
they had never thought that their unconscious actions would lead faes to suffer so much. even mere servants treated her as a lowly trash! but she was a princess, even if she can't cultivate she was still one of the royals!
"your high-" a servant began speaking but alex glared at them
"don't make me repeat myself" alex was truly angry and guilty. he couldn't understand what to do anymore other than kill these bastards who harmed not only faes but also the whole royal family.
"no!" faes immediately stopped alex before he can do anything. alex looked at her helplessly. faes couldn't read minds but the way he glanced at the servants and the bloodlust around him were evident enough of his thoughts.
"these are mine." faes grinned as she patted Martha on her shoulder who in turn shivered in fear.
"you guys always though i can't cultivate but what a pity, i turned out to be a genius at cultivation." faes laughed as she snapped her fingers.
another large scale magic array was formed below them and this time it activated instantly.
one moment they were inside the burning castle, the other moment they were outside watching the castle burn. some were passed out, while some were throwing up. some were dazed but they all turned towards the figure who walked up to the two royal kids.
at that moment, against the bright sunlight the figure seem to radiate a golden halo. her movements were elegant, her pretty clothes fluttering and her long hair flowing in the slight breeze. as she paused beside the two royals she released her aura and smiled like an angellic demon
her melodious voice rang beside the ears of each person
"a genius who not only can use teleportation, but telekinesis also."
