"we are under attack!" the soldier spoke panicking.
"collect yourself and speak properly" shiva glared at the soldier. he wasn't helping by repeatedly speaking that they were under attack!
the soldier finally snapped out of panic and calmed down. he began to report what was happening.
"sir! there are a thousand soldiers marching in the battalion's direction and will arrive in around fifteen minutes. there are around ninety king establishment stage cultivators, and nine hundred noble establishment stage cultivators. there are also nine elemental strengthening stage cultivators and we cannot determine their leader's cultivation."
shiva paled hearing the report. the nine hundred noble establishment stage cultivators were fine, but ninety king establishment stage cultivators, nine elemental strengthening cultivators and not to mention their leader were the main concerns. the leader was probably vital refining stage cultivator. he and sky were only elemental strengthening stage cultivators while faes was sole vital refining stage cultivator. and he cant send sky and faes to fight as they were still only kids!
"have you reported to the baron in the village and royal army?" shiva asked
the soldier nodded his head "we have reported but the army will be here and we only have gathered around three thousand soldiers in the battalion currently. more help will arrive in another hour."
baron Michel lawson and the white tiger battalion lead by battalion leader Albert kitchen only had around two thousand soldiers with his personal soldiers currently here there were only around three thousand soldiers in the battalion currently.
although around a hundred soldiers were king establishment stage cultivators, the rest were only noble establishment stage or knight establishment stage including the baron michel and albert.
they also have defender's advantage and war weapons stationed around the battalion, along with the defensive magic array of the battalion and village farcas they might have a chance to win.
shiva calmed down as he nodded
"get everyone ready and equipped with best weapons they have. if they don't have good quality weapons give them some from the weaponry and the stock agni have. i want everyone stationed around the battalion walls and the gate shut tightly." shiva ordered and dismissed the soldier.
while on the side faes eyes were shining! she can try her new power against real enemies but when she glanced at shiva her excitement died down. from his face she can understand that he wont allow her or sky out easily! faes pouted at shiva 'she really wanted to fight!'
"you can fight if its needed! i cant help it you are the strongest in the place currently" shiva sighed as he went to get ready after sending faes away.

in ten minutes everyone was ready and waiting in the battalion grounds.
"in five minutes the enemies will arrive here. though they are slightly stronger than us we have the numerical advantage along with our war weapons and defensive array we can slowly kill them down. they are looking down on us but we will show them that we are not a pushover and are the strongest force there is!" shiva spoke with confidence as he stood along with battalion leader albert and baron michel.
after his speech shiva assigned everyone to their positions and then they waited watching as thousand people exited the forest outside the battalion.
faes and sky were also watching from their positions on the walls but once faes laid her eyes on these thousand people a notification rang in her ears.

'doesnt that mean that they were here for her and sky?' faes had the thought as she began to turn angry, bloodlust escaping her body
shiva and the others near her noticed her changes but were confused about her sudden bloodlust. the enemy has not attacked yet or even spoken anything. does she recognize these people? shiva and others thoughts as faes turned to sky holding her hands tightly.
"if there is any problem enter mystic fog castle understood?" faes spoke as sky nodded seriously. sky was now around three years old and understood more than she did before, she also recognized these people similar to the one that faes fought in reptiliance. sky wasn't afraid that they are going to lose but when she remembered faes condition after fighting liam sky turned concerned. she was also sensitive to faes emotions and hence could feel what faes was feeling currently hence she nodded to everything faes spoke determined to do just that.
"faes what's wrong?" albert asked after faes calmed down slightly still holding sky's hand, her bloodlust was still present but it had faded a lot
but before faes could speak the leader of red poison cult stepped forward and spoke
"your royal highness i didn't expect you to come to this human territory to hide!" the leader spoke but then clicked his tongue before continuing
"commander shiva! i will give you one chance. let the two princesses out and stay away from this and we will let others go. if not then we will destroy this battalion today! your royal highness come out! dont you think that these innocent people will die for nothing. the red poison cult can end it peacefully"
once everyone heard the leader's words they were shocked. specially shiva and others who were near faes. after hearing the leader's words they understood two things that faes had some enmity with these people and the two girls were royals! royals! they have been treated these girls as their own and too casually! but how were they to know that the two were royals?
"faes what is he speaking about?" shiva asked not ready to accept that the two were royals.
"red poison cult and i have some personal score from the past" faes replied vougly before focusing on the red poison cult leader.
"what do you want this time? last time liam wanted to recuit us and have his hands on nightlight. dont tell me you are still after it" faes asked loudly glaring at the leader
"your highness you are as smart as ever. we are indeed here to recuit you and her royal highness princess sky" the leader laughed
"you can go back and tell your leaders that we are not interested in joining your tiny little cult. after i killed those thousands of your friends didn't the leader of red poison cult understood that i dont like that stupid group of yours?" faes replied her bloodlust increasing to the point that other than sky and shiva others were barely able to move around her.
"your highness dont go refusing just yet. our leader understood that you don't want to join us, but he had sent a gift for you; if you like it you can consider joining us" the leader spoke as he motioned with a hand and an arrow flew towards faes.
faes caught the arrow easily and unfolded the letter attached to it.

i hope you are doing well. but if you join us you will get everything you want. whether it be resources weapons or anything else you will get everything, even the servants, slaves and anything else.
the red poison cult isnt just a small cult, there is more to it than what meets the eye. liam the leader in reptiliance that you killed is one of the least important members of the cult and we can also ignore the previous quibble between us.
