as the nobles racked their brains to find out more about the direct disciples of lord shiva faes and sky were led to the battalion.
the battalion held many buildings and training grounds along with fighting rings. faes and sky were given a small tour of white tiger battalion. the battalion had one main building where the official work is done and also the battalion leader and other higher-ranking officers work.
other than main office there were living quarters for the soldiers and extra soldiers. boys and girls have separated quarters while the senior officers have their own personal quaters.
there were various sports areas, training areas, fighting areas other than the buildings both indoor and outdoor.
but the most eye catching building was the weponary and smithy. also the library which was right next to the former. there were also alchemy and other buildings, the battalion could pass as a village easily.
after faes and sky were assigned under lord shiva's direct disciples and given batches for both shiva's forces and white tiger battalion, along with their routine and schedule they were taken to their quarters.
"sister faes i don't think the food here will be tasty" sky spoke as they rested on the bed.
"we don't know that yet baby; who knows we might get surprised by how delicious the food is" faes replied sighing as her stomach rumbled. after fighting three battles in a day she was tired and hungry now! but according to the the schedule the place wont give them food at this time.
"lets go eat something in mystic fog castle before giving the smithy a visit" faes got up
"alright sister faes! after that we can also go to the library!" sky also got up excitedly.
with that decided the two vanished from their assigned room which they were going to share entering mystic fog castle where they held a small party to celebrate.

in the smithy faes and sky entered after showing their batches. it was only evening when they were coming here from the quarters they were given odd looks by many knights. some held respect, some held fear, while some held envy and even jealousy. faes and sky only smiled in return as they entered the smithy; whether they were liked or not was non of their business, they were only here to improve their skills.
after entering the smithy faes and sky noticed many blacksmiths and foragers working in here. the constant sound of metal hammering and fire cracking was heard as they arrived at the reception at the corner of the smithy.
"batch name and rank" the female knight asked them
"we are direct disciples of sir shiva, names faes and sky" faes said as she showed their batches.
"what can we help you with? are you here to get new weapons or get your previous weapons repaired?" the female knight asked after giving them shocked glances.
"we want to get our weapons repaired and upgraded" faes spoke
"i will need to appriase them to decide which forager should get assigned for the work, show me the weapons"
as faes and sky placed their swords and bows on the table before the female knight she began to check the weapons. but to her astonishment she couldn't tell what the weapons were made of!
"do you have required material for repair and upgrade?" the female knight asked as faes and sky nodded but didn't show what material they have to her disappointment.
"follow me then" the female knight then led faes and sky to the corner where a separate area was present blocked from others
"master agni; these two wants their weapons repaired and upgraded;" the female knight spoke but the dwarf man which was master agni didn't even turn to look at them as he continued to hammer a sword.
"then take them to someone else i am busy here" he replied in a hoarse voice.
"but master agni these weapons are made of unknown material that even i cant identify; and these two are sir shiva's direct disciples" the female knight replied which finally made master agni turn to them.
master agni was a master blacksmith and forager. he had worked here ever since he knew about this occupation but when he saw faes and sky smiling at him while the female knight placed two bows and two short swords along with a long sword of unknown origin on his work table he was shocked.
"alright leave" master agni dismissed the female knight as he inspected the weapons.
"high grade iron and something else! there are also few magic arrays crafted on these weapons; quick tell me where did you got these?" master agni asked but faes just smiled
"they were a gift even i don't know where they came from" her reply depressed master agni.
from his knowledge the longsword and longbow should be a high ranking weapon but because of some reasons they are only at grade C or uncommon rank. as for the shortsword and small bow they were both A grade weapons or in other words epic ranked weapons.
this had made him wonder where these weapons came from but the girls didn't knew about their origins.
"where are the materials you want me to use for upgrading these weapons?" master agni asked wanting to see what kind of materials these girls have prepared. faes immediately raised her hand and materials began to appear on his work table.
all kinds of rare high grade refined metals, concentrated and refined elemental stones and even high grade wood pieces appeared in front of master agni shocking him while there were even few potions and some kind of powder bottles. along with aiden and luna's scales feathers blood and multiple beast cores all high level.
faes smiled sheepishly as she spoke
"even after all this time sky and i only managed refine these high grade metals, concentrated elemental stones, along with few herbal strengthening potions and metal and wood flexibility powder; the beast cores and dragon scales and fangs and blood are also there. are they enough? if not then we will try to gather enough as soon as we can"
even sky nodded seriously "refining these things takes a lot of time and spiritual powers. if our foraging was slightly higher level then we might even gather some more of these items; as for the dragon scales fangs and blood they are our master's who left the world already hence we might not get them easily"
when master agni heard the two he glanced at them strangely; even he might take lot of time even months to gather these resources much less refine them; not to mention dragon scales fangs bones and blood! he might not even find them at all.
"at what rank are you in foraging?" he asked curiously
"i think sister faes is an advanced forager while i am an intermediate forager; though we both are master alchemist and if i remember correctly sister faes is an intermediate array master while i even learnt advanced array's becoming advanced array master recently! though we only got tested for alchemist talent in alchemist association guild we are yet to test ourselves in other things." sky proudly spoke raising her head
"you two-?" master agni was at a loss of words listening the two girls. his mind actually stopped working for a while as he glanced at the two girls in astonishment.
"would you like to learn more about foraging and blacksmithing from me?" he suddenly asked excited
"will you teach us?" sky exclaimed blinking
"if you want then sure but you will have to put these skills to good use" master agni grinned
"but we wont be able to learn daily! master shiva is going to train us from tomorrow and we also have many other things to do" faes suddenly frowned but master agni only waved his hand
"i will talk to him, you can come to learn twice a weak and do you have your armour? we can upgrade them too with these materials" master agni spoke as he turned back to the materials. faes and sky exchanged excited glances as they placed their armour near the weapons too.
"lets begin to get these things in the furnace"
following which along with faes and sky master agni began to upgrade the equipment.
