"when are you coming back home?" king augustus asked faes
"that, royal father not to be disrespectful but i want time. i am currently trying to hone my skills while on the journey, along with few other things. if i hurry back then it wont be good. i also want to see the world and enjoy as much as i can" faes replied as her smile vanished replacing with a serious look
"i see but try to come back as early as possible, your family is worried about you. and also please at least call any one of us once in a while" king augustus sighed. he cant understand this daughter of his at all! but he was worried that faes wont be able to stay safe if she gets in trouble.
"i understand royal father. don't worry about me i have my companions and sky too. we will come back when i think its alright to or i am ready to come back" faes replied and ended the call after greeting Augustus again to continue her journey.
king Augustus sighed as he leaned back on his chair. the more he thought he had begun to understand his daughter the more mysterious she becomes.
he still remembers how she would smile and hug his leg calling him dad when they met in past. wearing a beautiful pink dress her grey eyes sparkled with excitement and something more. he always kept her away from nobles to keep her safe.
everyone knows that faes didn't have any powers and was a spoiled girl. though she seem weak and timid, easy to scare and would cry after slight bullying. the nobles always targetted her in order to take the royal family down.
king augustus felt guilty because even he had thought that faes was dragging his family down at a time. but after she ran away and became what she is now he didn't know what to do. it seem that she wasn't his daughter anymore,
he knew nothing about faes other than few things she told. 'teleportation' such a rare skill user, even if she was physically weak just because of this ability faes can shut the mouths of those nobles but she kept her powers hidden. he was sure faes have more powers but what that he didn't know.
he just hoped that faes would stay safe and come back to him soon.
"your majesty, her royal highness princess nia wants to meet you" his butler informed him bringing king augustus out of his thoughts.
"send her in"
soon nia entered the study with a serious expression. after he had known about faes whereabouts he had called nia and alexander back to continue their cultivation and training.
"greetings father, i heard faes is coming back home? is that true?" nia asked.
"i just had a talk with her, she is taking a ship to Altai as we speak" Augustus replied smiling sadly, if only faes took a flight and come directly to the royal capital!
"then if father permits can i go meet my sister?" nia was the one who stayed by her sister's side mostly. even then they barely met once per day for a short while. from what nia knew her sister faes was different from the current faes.
nia wanted to know if her sister was still cute and good little girl, though it will only be great if she had powers too. they might get to spend more time together and train.
king augustus heard nia's request and his eyes suddenly lit up. 'if nia goes to meet faes then she will arrive back to the capital sooner!'
thinking this king augustus agreed to send nia to meet faes. ofcourse with her guards and maids.
with a plan in motion to bring faes home king augustus went to his chamber.
...
while king augustus and princess nia were planning to meet faes and bring her back to capital, faes boarded a ship leaving for altai.
she told the crew to not disturb her as she entered her assigned room and vanished in mystic fog castle.
....
next day faes and sky were spending their time on deck of the ship drinking various juices and eating snacks. faes was even reading a thick book.
she was reading the book aiden gave her about the acupressure and elemental strengthening stage. though she was already on peak of the stage she was yet to understand it completely and her skills were way behind her cultivation now.
after reading the book faes felt her cultivation methods to be somewhat childish. she had made a particular move for each element belonging to a particular stage of cultivation but now that she noticed it, it seem to be something wrong.
these methods were not growing in quality but only in quantity which wasn't a good thing, but what was she going to do now?
after figuring out the problem with her cultivation faes changed the book she was reading to one on the world geography of lore.
now that she was going to another continent she might as well make plans to see what she was going to do in future. she also needed to know more about lore.
'system i think something's wrong with the map' faes frowned as she glanced at the world map in the book then towards the world map system had created for her. there was some difference in both maps and not a small difference but a big one.
'a whole continent was missing in the book!'
[host the world haven't explored this continent yet hence they didn't mention it] the system replied.
'havent explored?' faes relaxed as she continued reading about the eurasia continent where she was going currently.
the eurasia continent was divided into four parts or four kingdoms. the biggest one of them was altai- her kingdom. along with kingdom altai there were three other regions- crescent kingdom, acrycol kingdom and loteria.
continent aurasia was mostly inhabitated by humans and similar creatures. kingdom altai was stronger in power because of its large area and population. there were lots of knights and mages in the kingdom's army and it was also the most similar place to earth on lore according to faes.
kingdom crescent was famous for its gems, kingdom acrycol was famous for its acrylic materials along with materials such as plastics etc. while faes didn't find much about Loteria.
with this faes and sky spent their day, enjoying and reading while nobody disturbed them. at night on ship faes stayed on deck gazing at the stars.
when faes had felt lonely on earth she used to go to a park that had lots of trees and stayed there gazing at the stars. it had calmed her down always and made her feel better.
now faes had two families, lots of people around her who care for her and even companions that are not of the same race. faes now had lots of responsibilities and work to do now unlike her previous life where she only needed to study and work day and night only to earn some money enough to survive.
now that she was gazing at the stars faes felt nostalgic, but the loneliness that she always felt was missing. now she had others with her!
'thank you for giving me lots of loving friends' faes whispered with few tears in her eyes as she smiled. her mind was calmer now and she felt good as the cold breeze brushed her body, and the stars light up the sky along with the two moons.
what faes didn't notice was that there were other people on the ship near her and were bewitched by her looks, even when she was wearing her mask.
