the training ground of royal palace, where the knights and mages from the palace normally trained and practices was normally filled with sounds of all kind of weapons and magic flowing around. but today it was silent as if not even a soul was practicing.
this was because from today the two princesses would begin their training with the two princes. adrian would train sky while faes would train with blake. faes had already her weapons chosen but sky who had recently morphed into her human form still haven't chosen her weapon. adrian had taken sky with him to choose sky's choice of weapon that suits her fighting style.
while blake was with faes grinning at her as they both stood in front of each other holding their own swords. faes had her own sword out while blake was holding a short sword that he uses.
they were surrounded by group of knights and mages that normally practices around here watching them with curiosity. they all wanted to see how strong their princess is and what kind of powers she have. they only heard that faes can use qi and is elite establishment stage but they didn't believed it completely. they knew that their princess is stronger than she tells everyone!
faes was irritated by the audience but she tried her best to ignore their curious eyes and focused on blake. this was their first day of training and blake wanted to test her! blake was in peak noble establishment stage just like adrian. while the king and queen were in king establishment stage.
faes knew that she can defeat blake even though she was a stage lower than him because of her skills but she currently had another problem. faes told everyone that she uses qi in order to hide her strength. now when facing blake she cant use other powers because of the spectators they had.
faes wanted a quite place to train but blake had insisted to train here as this place was better than others and had more space to move around. he also said that if the others saw her train a few days they would leave them alone and not bother about what they do anymore and mind their own business.
faes did not believe him in the slightest but if they don't leave her alone after watching her for a few days she was either going to change her training place or going to make them move away so that they don't bother her.
faes had been in the royal capital for half a month now and had gotten settled. faes and sky also had an etiquette teacher who is going to teach them more about the dragon nobility and etiquette. faes was not looking forward to it in the slightest because she didn't care about the nobility at all! but faes still agreed, only because aiden had taught her the importance of ally and enemy.
according to aiden the nobles if on good terms make good and powerful ally in case of a war or other trouble. faes had agreed to take the classes after remembering aiden's words but still it didn't took her interest anywhere.
anyways back to the present! faes glared at blake who was grinning at her! he had been teasing her about the incident with Richard along with other ways like today.
'he definitely got her here to irritate her!' faes sighed as the number of people watching them increased again.
it will probably only increase if they don't finish this quick enough and satisfy the on lookers. faes thought as she tried to decide what to do. she wanted to train in ice and space magic that she recently got but because she said she used qi in the ball faes can only practice with her sword bow and qi for now.
ice and space magic have to wait! faes had actually already involved them in her techniques and methods even before she had them because faes had a premonition that she would get them along with other powers in the future. who would have thought that killing a weak spider would give her space magic!
taking a deep breath faes took a stance with her sword still glaring at grinning blake who was standing in front of her as if he was looking down on her.
"i will only use the strength of elite establishment so that we are evenly matched! don't worry about that!" blake said. understimating her much? faes smiled which made blake feel a chill on his back.
blake felt that something was wrong as faes smiled at him after he said that he would lower his power while fighting with her. he merely wanted to know what faes had already learnt and what he can teach her. blake had mastered using the short sword till advanced level and can use his fire element and qi both so he was quite powerful in his generation. but when faced with faes his smile dropped.
why was she smiling like that? blake thought but faes vanished from his line of sight and next he knew there was a sword on his neck ready to take his life anytime. then a voice came from behind him loud enough so that everyone present around them can hear
"don't bother!" faes said holding the sword on blake's neck grinning. she had used her movement technique void step and warned blake that she was not to be underestimated if he was going to train her.
blake took the hint and sighed. he had forgotten that powerful aura he had traced before finding faes and sky for the first time in the forest. faes had said they killed the beast but he had not believed her at that time. now when faes was standing behind him with her sword on his neck he felt she was not kidding at that time.
"fine i will fight with you using my full power and qi only!" blake said agreeing to what faes wanted as faes removed her sword from his neck and again appeared in her original place where she was standing before smiling at him like she wasn't the one holding the sword on his neck a while ago.
blake shuddered shaking his head to clear his thoughts and he too took a stance. he was not going to let her get him again! it will make him look weak! he knew why faes did that! 'she was punishing him for making her train in front of others' blake sighed focusing on faes who was also in position.
"lets begin!" blake said as faes once again vanished from his sight. this time he followed her trail and blocked the sword that attacked him from the side.
faes who was blocked didn't stopped she used her movement technique again moving away from blake and changing direction of her attacks using her high agility, but blake was able to block her easily! it was mostly because she wasn't going her full speed in her movement in order to save a trump card.
"clank! clank!" sounds of swords hitting each other echoed around. faes not only changed directions she also changed her attack movements to give blake a hard time. even though blake managed to block her attack he wasn't able to attack in return that made him astonished.
blake also specializes in agility and used short sword to ease his movement but faes was fast enough to give him a hard time!
blake smiled as he once again blocked the sword trying to stab him in stomach.
"you are good and fast but now its my turn!" blake also activated his own movement technique which wasn't as fast as the one faes uses but was enough to give him an opportunity to attack once in a while. the movement technique he uses was one of the best in the whole kingdom but it was still slightly lower quality than the one faes have.
they exchanged blows attacking defending and counterattacking in a cycle moving in all the space they had, while the others tried to follow them.
