faes felt her eyes burning up as few tears fell down from her eyes. she bowed her head not meeting aidne's eyes as she sniffed.
"sorry i - i am sorry that i wasn't able to take care of your daughter" faes chocked as she wiped her eyes but the tears continued to flow. soon she began cry loudly making aiden feel guilty. but before he can apologise he was hit on his head
"look what you did!" luna said as she hit aiden and then approached faes who was crying.
"faes look at me" luna said lifting faes face and made faes look at her. luna wiped faes tears and sighed "don't listen to him he was messing with you! you passed the test and i was amazed that you can do all that!" luna cleared glaring at aiden who grinned sheepishly.
faes heard what luna said and stopped crying staring at aiden. he didn't changed even after dying and dared to play tricks on her! and she actually fell for it!
"sorry i was thinking of messing with you but who would have thought that you would begin crying like that?" aiden asked as he approached her and engulfed her in a hug.
"you are my daughter and i am proud of you just like i am proud of sky" aiden said
"really?"faes asked to confirm and aiden nodded.
"you cant do anything right?!" luna shouted when faes began to cry again but this time faes was crying because she was finally not going to die.
luna hugged faes and didn't let go until she stopped crying. when they were done someone cleared their throat on the side glaring at the three of them.
faes saw the leader lady spirit glaring at them and unconsciously smiled. they had turned the trial conference into their own space once again! and it was again due to aiden.
"sorry!" aiden smiled
"you passed the trial! it was with good grades too! we accept you as a dragon princess and you have our respect for the skills you showed." the leader ignored aiden and said
[ding! quest completed!] a notification sounded making faes smile
"for passing the trial and getting out respect you will be gifted. you can now use the scared powers of dragons. some dragons can use special powers that are different from anything in the world. you will be able to use those powers easily just like sky. along with that you will also have wings and tail like a dragon and will be able to turn your arms and legs into claws whenever you desire." the leader said just as faes heard the notification of reward received. because of her good performance, she even got 10 sp and ap.
"thank you!" faes bowed.
"this is the holy book which can explain to you the special power of dragons you can keep it and teach it to princess sky too when she begins to understand" a book flew in faes hands and faes bowed again thanking everyone
"now you go back, using the ancient spirit to train yourself humph!" the grumpy old man from before said but he was not angry and was even smiling slightly, he looked amused even.1
aiden and luna gave faes another hug.
"stay safe and keep sky safe too i trust you!" aiden said
"faes i want to thank you for looking after sky please continue to take care of her for me! and also tell others that we miss them" luna said and faes nodded smiling now that she knew she wasn't dying.
faes then bowed to everyone and greeted them before she blacked out again.
the pain from before was no longer there but a new kind of pain made its presence. the pain in her limbs and back was too much. it was similar to the pain she woke up to after entering this world but it was intense this time.
this made faes cry out in pain again!
others were waiting for the storms to vanish so that they knew what was happening with the two princesses. they knew that the princesses were undergoing the trial of the ancient spirit but it had been going on for hours! it was around past midnight now and the storms had no intention to stop.
the nobles and royal family both were not sure what had happened but they were praying for the two's safety. just as they were thinking when the storms would vanish another scream sounded out. this time it was louder and more painful. it made everyone's heart beat faster and the worry in their minds increased further.
the screaming continued for almost half an hour before stopping. the storm that had surrounded the princesses was still not showing any signs of vanishing but instead it increased in intensity and turned even more violent with more magic particles and qi.
faes who experienced the constant pain for the time felt like an eternity had passed when the pain vanished leaving her panting on the ground. she sighed but then tensed again when a notification sounded.

faes cursed silently as she did not have time to catch her breath and adjust instead she revolved her cultivation technique to the limits as she noticed the mana around her increase in intensity.
soon she broke through elite establishment stage but the storm continued until she was elite establishment stage 3. faes was surprised but she didn't had time to think and check her own condition currently she was still worried for sky whose storm cloud was still there.
faes got up as the mana around her began to vanish and focused in the direction of sky.
others saw that the mana cloud surrounding princess faes was dissipating and they held their breaths. one mana storm vanishing while the other was still there means two things. one that the princess had passed the trial and came back after getting the blessing of the ancient spirits and other that she is dead!
they saw the dust and mist settle and a figure standing appeared in their vision. she looked taller and the baby fat that she had previously have vanished giving her a mature look. her black hair that was shiny and long till her waist was even longer and came till her knees now flowing gently due to the wind and looked smoother and softer than before. her grey eyes had a slightly red and golden tinge to them which wasn't noticeable if not looked closely.
her skin looked softer but the slight golden scales were present there if looked closely. her hair that had half free and half tied style previously had changed, now they were flowing freely on her back. the smaller hair was covering her face sideways casting a shadow giving her an ethereal look that made everyone not able to take their eyes away from her. the mask she had was still there but it just gave her another sense of mystery that made her look like a mythical being with the now redder lips as if covered by blood, along with the tiara that was still on her head now showing better than before and shining with otherworldly glow. the dress that previously looked cute on her had now changed. though it had the same colour and style but the designs have changed.
the purple dress was still the same colour with a top and harem pants design but the snowflake design that was previously there had changed into a golden and silver pattern on the lower part of the harem pants and along the waist. the v neck that was previously designed with gems now held golden gems on the border and a silver net like cloth covered with golden designs similar to her pants covered her top and came till her waist. the full sleeves that were flowing freely was also decorated in similar golden and silver pattern from the end. she was wearing heels now which were made of purple glass that shined every now and then.
the most shocking was the wings on her back. the dress had turned into a backless dress and the princess had two golden feathered wings on her back that were huge for her size along with the tail that had golden scales coming out from her lower back.
the princess that looked like a ten-year-old cute kid had changed. she now can pass for any teenager around the age of thirteen to fourteen, she was now a beautiful bud waiting to be blossomed into a lethal beauty. she still looked cute but it had a more mature and beautiful side now, her aura had also changed into something stronger than before but it didn't give them a sense of danger instead it made them feel calm and they had the urge to protect her at all cost.
they sighed knowing that their elder princess had not died but had come out of trial passing the trial and getting ancient spirit's recognition and their blessing. they wanted to know what was going on but the older princess that was still standing in the same place was focusing on the other storm that too had begun to vanish.
the second storm began to settle down and another figure smaller than the first began to appear in everyone's sight. she had white hair coming till her shoulders and were shaded purple at the tips. her eyes were blueish purple and were sparkling. she was around two feet in height and was standing. she was wearing a white knee-length dress that flew freely from the waist, it was decorated with purple intricate designs on the neck and the hem. the dress was sleeveless and had a bottleneck design, though it was backless. on her back, silver feathery wings were present and along with a tail having purple scales. on her feet was a pair of white flats and there was a purple ribbon on her waist along with a big bow on her lower back.
she had more of an innocent curious child that looked around two years old. her forehead was still covered with a white scarf that too had a purple design but the hairs coming and covering her forehead made it difficult to look at the designs. the onlookers had even a stronger sense to protect her than their older princess.
the elder princess felt strong and gave them a sense of protection that they wanted to protect while the younger princess gave them a feeling of a cute chubby child that is yet to see the world and they wanted to protect the innocence she had.
just as the two storms settled completely and the two princesses came into their view there was no sound. everyone was relieved that the two princesses were fine but they were so mesmerised by their mythical looks that they didn't move and continued to stare at them with wide eyes.
