nuri took faes outside where her servants were waiting with tears in their eyes. they bowed when nuri came out.
"we are sorry for the kingdoms loss your majesty, we will always miss his majesty king aiden" the servants said bowing
faes felt touched when she sensed that aiden was loved by everyone in this kingdom. if only they would love her the same way even after knowing she was a human. though she was back to being a dragon now but one day they were going to know that it was not true.
even when faes had dragon race blood after being transmigrated she was not able to transform into a true dragon. though she can do other things that dragon does like controlling the dragon race supression.
"we all will miss him! thank you, these two young girls are his majesty king aiden's daughters and our princesses, princess faes and princess sky please prepare a room for them and appoint some maids, butlers and guards for them" nuri said. faes noticed that nuri was polite with her servants too and the servants too seem to respect and love nuri.
"yes your majesty!" the servants bowed towards them as some of them went away. "lets go wait in the living area until your rooms are prepared, until then you can tell me more about both of you" nuri said.

after a few hours a maid knocked on the living room door and entered when nuri called her in. she bowed and greeted them before telling the reason she came
"reporting to her majesty queen nuri, the rooms for princess sky and princess faes are prepared. maids butler and guards for them are also arranged by the head maid and head butler along with the army commander. the workers are tested and are qualified for the work" the maid reported
"that's good." nuri said nodding
"your majesty, his majesty have prepared a funeral for late king aiden tomorrow morning. he said that even if its few days late it should be done" the maid said. faes who was listening on the side felt tears in her eyes. this was something that she wanted to ask, she wanted to give aiden a funeral but she didn't know the rituals dragons follow.
now that her wish was fulfilled she felt like a big weight from her shoulders have been lifted.
nuri watched faes tear up and sky nuzzeling closer to faes as to comfort her and felt emotional. she always wanted daughters but only got two sons and that too didn't spend much time with her. now fate had give her two daughters together and that too are beautiful and cute. nuri felt a sudden urge to protect and spoil these two tiny things just as a mother would.
"aunt nuri, if you will excuse us sky and i would like to rest for a while." faes said taking deep breath and holding herself from crying.
"yes yes both of you must be tired from all the travelling! go on rest the dinner will be sent to your room if you would like. we all need some time to process the reality" nuri said
"that would be great, thank you aunt nuri, then we will be off excuse us" faes stood and turned towards the maid who seem like she was trying to say something.
"your highness princess faes, the servants that are to serve you and princess sky are waiting outside allow me to introduce them" the maid said when faes focused on her.
faes nodded and said "thank you" before the maid lead her outside. there were two male knights, two butlers one male and one female and two female maids. they were all of age in between fifteen to twenty and were good looking.
"these are the people who are going to serve you your highness. sir grayson, miss robin and sir elijah will serve you your highness princess faes as your guard, maid and butler respectively while sir ethan, miss sarah and miss emma will serve you your highness princess sky as your guard, butler and maid respectively" the maid introduced as the new requits bowed.
just looking at them faes felt that her life is going to change drastically but she cant refuse! well she can but it after seeing how nuri was in the past few hours she cant bring herself to reject. faes smiled at everyone
"then we will be in your care everyone! please take care of us. i wont ask much from you all i just want two things loyalty and respect can you give them to me?" faes nodded
when everyone saw faes smile they seem to realize that the new master that they got isn't any bad but not a saint either. faes wasn't like normal girls, she was different. the servants were raised by the empire and have already devoted themselves to their work. they know when to speak and when not to, what is good for them and what isn't. when they saw faes smile she seem innocent and weak making them think that they needed to protect her at all cost. that simple smile was so captivating that even with a mask covering her face she seemed beautiful. all of them were unable to take their eyes away from her.
though faes seem to be of dragon race they knew that she was human and they were not going to ask anything. the mysteriousness faes had made them realise that she want that easy to order around or a fool that will blindly listen and fall into tricks.
they all had clearly heard rumors about the useless princess from kingdom altai who didn't have any powers and was way too spoiled. but now that they were currently in front of her they knew that the rumors were not true. the real princess had powers that nobody knew about. the two things that the princess asked them were not only for asking but it was a threat.
they are free to leave and not serve her but if they accept they have to treat her with respect and always stay loyal to her only. if they by any chance betray her they would face a fate that they haven't dreamed about in their whole life.
the simple words that seem to be said by a little kid had lots of deep meaning behind it. each and everyone of them exchange glances and felt a shiver going up their spine. they were trained but when face with a kid princess they felt that they were not good enough.
"you have a five minutes" when they all were thinking they heard a monotonous voice which made them shiver. they were trained and they have to do their job with their all.
the six people suddenly nodded at each other and kneeled on the ground on their knee with their hand over their heart.
"we will give all our loyalty and respect to your highness we swear on our life" they vowed.
faes smiled as she watched everyone sweaer their loyalty and respect to her. she didn't needed trust and love of her servants they can be broken but loyalty and respect if broken will take away lives.
even when faes was a normal girl in her previous life she have seen life enough to know what was important and what isn't. if she is getting someone who works for her then they need to have some rules which she had set already.
"you all can get up now, lets go see our rooms" faes said
everyone got up and then the butlers led faes towards their rooms. if faes didn't had the butlers to lead the way then she would surely have lost the way. now she was feeing glad that nuri forced her to get servants. elijah was leading faes while everyone else were walking at a distance behind her.
after several minutes of walking they finally arrived in front of a big door. elijah opened the door and bowed faes entered the place and looked around. this place was bigger than the one in her space and better decorated.
the room they entered was a living room which had a sofa set, tv, and a play area with a small library. there was also a dining area and a balcony on the other side.
"this is the living area that your highness will share with princess sky while this room is your bedroom and this one is your study" elijah said
"and this room is your highness princess sky's bedroom and this is the study" sarah continued as they showed the rooms to faes and sky. faes didn't like sky and her being in different bedrooms but didn't say anything for now.
their rooms were decorated according to what faes told nuri during their talk about their preferences. faes was awed as they managed to decorate the room this fast and nicely too. the study also had many books and big desk along with a sitting area on the side.
"alright thank you for showing us around, sky and i will rest for a while now, we will eat our dinner here today" faes said
"as your highness wishes!" the six new people around faes bowed and left the place leaving her alone. now that she was alone faes sighed and took sky in her hands.
"baby its too hard to stay in royal princess mode!" faes whined to which sky seem to chuckle in return amusing faes
"you laugh now all you want but when you grow and transform in your human form i will see how you keep up with all the etiquette" faes said but she cant help but smile.
