'system how much time he have' faes asked
[about an hour or less as he was forcefully moving and talking] the system replied.
"i dont have much time left i can feel it. faes take this with you and give this to my brother when you meet him" aiden pointed to an envelope before he continued
"i have made more letters for you, sky and others for the future when you meet the requirement written on the envelope you can open them and read for guidance though i cant help you in all the situations." aiden said pointing to a box filled with envelopes.
"don't talk papa! please it will just drain your energy and i want to stay all the time remining with you" faes said her face filled with tears. faes knew aiden was dying and whatever he was saying were his last wishes but she cant help herself from being greedy and not wanting aiden to die. in the time she was in this world she had only felt attached to aiden and sky and little to blake and the original faes family but most of all she was close to aiden. with him leaving her she wont have anyone she can rely on in the future.
"let me speak i dont have much time anyways 'cough', take all the things you want from here to your space and you can do whatever you want with them, along with mine and my wife's body, i have already talked with blake 'cough' he will meet you halfway to the forest if you leave day after tomorrow for the capital. 'cough' i have ordered many things for both of you in the capital and blake will take you to get them just give him the letter named for him" aiden began coughing badly, so badly that he even began coughing blood.
"remember i love both of you. and even if i wont be in front of you i will always be watching" aiden said as his coughing took break. his breathing and heart rate were decreasing rapidly.
"if i got reincarnated in other world i would love it to be earth so that i can know what place my daughter came from. i will meet my love, my queen and spend my next life in that world if the god wants" aiden said as he smiled.
"please dont leave us like this, i dont even know how to take care of kids! what if i dont take proper care of sky or make some mistake? what if i mess up my cultivation? what if-" aiden patted her head with a smile
"you wont mess up because you are faes my king aiden's elder daughter and you have my younger daughter sky with you" aiden then patted sky's little head before he closed his eyes and his body went limp. a blinding light engulfed aiden and then he changed into his dragon form but he was still dead.
[his majesty former king aiden shadowdragon de reptiliaince is not in this world anymore] the system notified with a sad tone. if it could the little system would be crying too as it also felt very sad.
faes and sky cried near aiden's body hugging it tightly. sky went to sleep tired because of crying while faes didn't knew what to do now.
"my princess control your emotions, you have to save his body before it begins to decompose. take his spacial ring, it contains queen luna's body it would just be right to let them be together in this moment" kailial told faes. he was also sad knowing aiden's death.
faes decided to listen to him for now and did as kailial told. she took aiden's spacial ring and stored his body into it. then she sent the ring to her space.
[in respect to king aiden and queen luna a special space is created in the mystic fog castle you can visit them there, though it will still be a part of inventory but it will be accecible for now] a notification came making faes turn to the system with tears in her eyes
'thank you' she told it as she sighed.
no matter what she did now it wont being aiden back. faes picked sky who was sleeping and held her close to herself. she have to take care of sky now, she will not let sky down and let her grow into a great girl. faes looked towards the sky as she said in her mind
'god if possible fulfill aiden's all wishes. keep sky safe and happy and let aiden and his queen reincarnate on earth' faes prayed for some more time before she decided to rest for today.
she didn't entered her space but stayed in the cave after taking a long bath to calm herself and giving sky a bath and feeding her they went to sleep.
next day faes made breakfast for sky and herself and after that faes transferred everything from the cave to her space. it took her whole morning and after lunch faes was ready to leave the cave. she didn't wanted to stay in the place that reminded her of aiden all the time. it will just disturb her in the future and faes cant let sky sense her worry and sadness all the time. it will affect her seriously.
faes took sky to her space and went to visit aiden. there was a new door near the stairs which led to the basement. when faes entered it was dark and there was just one room which had aiden's and queen luna's dead bodies.
faes stayed there and told aiden and luna about her future plans. sky was not sure what was happening as she was a new born and barely knew the seriousness of death. she just knew that her father was not coming to her and talk to her anymore.
after both sky and faes spent some time with aiden and luna they came out of the basement. sky was feeling sleepy so she fell asleep on faes shoulder. faes was not in the mood to practice or cultivate so she decorated the palace from the things she brought from the cave.
placing everything in their correct place took faes whole day and after dinner for her and a bath for both her and sky they were both fast asleep in sky's room in the mystic fog castle.
when faes woke up sky was still asleep so she got ready for the day. faes was not feeling much sad now and was ready to leave for the capital city of reptiliance. aiden also told her to leave today and meet blake halfway so she would leave today. just as faes got ready and took her weapons, she noticed something unusual. and just as she noticed it she went to where sky was sleeping and picked her up holding her closer. faes then surveyed the whole space but didn't found anything wrong. but she still held sky close to her.
after getting sky ready and getting herself ready faes took sky and went to make breakfast for both of them, only to find the dining table filled with food.
this confirmed faes doubt but it just made her afraid and alert, after all there was a person in mystic fog castle which was not invited by her.
