"its complicated and I am not sure you wont hurt me" faes said to aiden as they sat in front of each other with her back still against the tree
"I wont hurt you until you attack or hurt me and my child" he promised relieving her but this leaves only one condition for her
'system are you there?' faes asked in her mind just as the dog appeared again on her shoulder
[yes host I am here just don't kill me] it said sobbing and shivering
'I wont but can I tell others about you and my transmigration?' faes asked nearly rolling her eyes as the thought came to her mind
[yes host just don't mention the god] the system replied happy that she wont kill it not that faes know how to anyway.
"you wont believe me if I told you the truth" she said to aiden
"try me I am all ears lets just go to the cave first its not safe" he replied eyeing the dead bodies and extended his hand towards faes to help her up. He was still not trusting her but she had shown no intention of hurting him or his child so he was going to give her a chance. 'if any condition arrives I will just kill her as she is so weak and small' he thought
faes took his hand and both went to the cave. Once faes got there she looked around it was dark but due to her enhanced vision faes was able to see quite clearly. The entrance was normal just like any other cave but once they went further inside there is a barrier which looked like cave ending.
"it's a barrier I placed after the attack to keep others from finding my child" aiden said and motioned for her to go through.
'it wont hurt me right system?' faes asked just to make sure
[no its just earth barrier to keep uninvited guest out but as you are invited it wont hurt you] the system replied sounding convincing so faes took its word
Taking a deep breath she walked to the wall and when she got near with aiden following behind the wall opened like a door which surprised her making her jump in awe. 'Its so cool!' she thought As she stared at it in awe aiden passed by her and went further in. not to get lost faes hurried to keep up with his long strides which he takes with his long legs. She barely came till his waist which told that how big he was or how small she was. 'I seriously need a mirror!'
Once they were inside the wall closed again and the place lit up. faes gasped as she saw that it was nothing like a cave here. It was more like an apartment room! There was a sofa set with a table in front of it on left side of the square room and it seems to be made of stones and wood but overall it must be comfortable with the pillows on it. It was facing the wall which held a tv which immediately picked my interest as it was just a screen without wires or electricity.
On right side of the room was a door or lack of as there was no door to separate the rooms. It seemed to be kitchen inside with a dining table and other cooking utensils just like modern world.
The last wall had stairs on one side and a door on other which picked her curiosity. This place has floors!
"let sit" he motioned for the sofa in front of him and faes sat there finding that it was comfortable. She have seen this before or well the previous owner saw it when she came to save the egg or hide herself. There are three rooms upstairs from her memory one of which was big enough to contain two dragons and it was the one which had the egg nest. she can just imagine what is in the other two rooms or the one here near the stairs.
"so what will I wont believe?" aiden asked eyeing the girl and not using his aura to suffocate her more
"before I tell you anything you have to promise me you won't hurt me and also help me" faes said making a strategy already. 'I want to be rich and powerful so that I can get what I want'
This will be her goal in this world and she will make sure to not hurt the innocent and help the others too.
"I will try my best" he replied narrowing his eyes. The little creature did not behave like a kid at all but more like a grown up.
Taking a deep breath faes began the story of her and this body journey first this bodies!
"my name is faes monesterio von altai second princess of altai kingdom" faes began and it took him by surprise and he now noticed the ring on her right hand ring finger before nodding. This maybe why this kid was behaving like an adult or trying to behave like one he cant tell for sure.
"well then princess what is your story" he said amused now to hear her story
"when I was born I was given everything I needed and was a doll typical princess. All pink things and girly stuff kind of princess!" faes frowned and made a face at that memory of this body. 'I really hate typical girls! And more so pink color.' She wanted to throw up at that.
"I wasn't physically powerful so everyone thought that I will have magic so they waited for it to appear still loving and caring for me but as time continued no powers were awakened" she said sighing. In this world people mostly get their abilities by the age of eight but royals and nobles get them at age of five. And this girl was 9 years old! "Everyone believed that her powers will awaken soon they were delayed because they were special but I am now 9 years old without any powers. The maids in the palace began stealing my things as I was weak and cant complain to anyone as they will just buy me new things. They even taunted and beat me a few times when I tried to fight.
So one day I decided to leave the palace to go to outside world and get stronger. I believed that if I put myself in danger I will unlock my skills. But then I was wrong I accidentally came across a legendary beast and ran to save myself when I came here. I saw this cave and entered only to find someone destroying the eggs. I didn't notice you fighting outside as I was in panic and directly ran to the nest.
As I was always loved and loved helping others I decided to save the egg but in the process I died as you know" faes said rolling her eyes at which he nodded
"but I don't find something unbelievable in this story" aiden said frowning as how can the maids treat a princess this way even when she is weak. 'she is still a royal'
"well this is the story of this body not mine I am not faes monesterio" faes said and his frown deepened which almost made her chuckle
"I am not from this world my soul transmigrated here after I died" she explained then began telling her real story
"I am from planet earth where no magic exist though similar technology exist. I was an orphan by birth and no one adapted me as I wasn't beautiful or strong. I grew up in an orphanage and did my best to study hard and achieve my dreams. I got a scholarship but no friends and family. I lived alone in my rented apartment and worked at a diner to earn money for the rent. I always got late for work due studies and in last the owner fired me. I was going home that day when I noticed a lady in way of a speeding car at the centre of the road. I saved her by pushing her out of the way and died in that accident. Then I transmigrated here."
faes said and he listened silently "I have no idea about this world except the old girls memories and also due to my transmigration I got a few skills. Also I learned that the old owner had a skill and that was to copy others skills but it was powerful and the girl was weak due to all the dotting so she didn't unlocked it and its still locked" she shrugged
"so you are not from this world I see" aiden said rubbing his chin thinking. It is indeed unbelievable as a other world soul transfers in this one but after what happened years ago and what he saw he just have to digest it and let it be. 'the two incidents better be connected and the world get peace again' he thought as he processed faes words
"and I believe that you want me to train you and help you get stronger?" he asked which made her smile. She looked cute!
"yes I want to get stronger and you can teach me" faes agreed.
He thought for sometime before speaking again
"I will help you if you pass my test" he said seriously now more concerned about his child. This wasn't the girl who saved his child so he now have to test her intentions
