Chapter 1 - Prologue

The moon poured down on the two, showering them with beams of light in the beautiful cliff. The moonbeams caught in her hair, making each dark brown curl seem as though it as alight with divinity. Her skin was illuminated by the stars; she look deathly pale, like her heart would stop any moment. Her eyes of amber scrutinizing things inside that full of mysteries. She is a mystery. A dangerously beautiful mystery, and he was ensnared in the trap which she never knew she'd set.

"Sol, do you think I can love again?" he mumbled while looking at her amber eye. Soleil wait for a few second if he is serious about what he had said. But as she looks into his eyes, she knew he was dead serious.

"Love is a dangerous feeling. Well, in this world." Soleil laughed. Even her smile looks so sweet. Even her voice was like music under a summer breeze. "But it's also a wonderful feeling. To be honest, I don't know the answer to your question but I'm sure that someday, somewhere or some time you will find another kind of love that you never knew exist."

She opened the can of sting and gave it to him "That's more like it!" he accepted it then drink it. The taste of it was like a strawberry soda. After he drink it, he turn his face and faces her while she's looking in the blue moon.

"I never knew that I would transmigrate in this world. Until now, it's feel surreal. The section, the disease, the people, and this world. I felt like I was in a dream. But you know, the funny thing is, I don't know if this is a dream or a nightmare." Sol bitterly smiled while still looking at the moon. She imagined her family, her friends and her love ones in her original world. She misses them so much that it hurts every time she thought about them. But, she is in this world now. This is the reality she need to face.

Besides, she has now people she needs to protect. She loves them as much as her original love ones and she already decided that she won't ever backed down again. "But, thank you. Thanks to all of you for making this world a place I can bearably live."

He longingly devoured her face with his eyes, wishing with all his being that he could reach out and brush his hand against her cheekbones, or under her archly curved eyelashes. But he refrained doing so, and continued to succumb to the endless torture of watching her without being able to touch.

After a long time of talked, she fell asleep in the trunk of the car. He noticed that she was cold that's why he covered her by his thick blue blanket.

Suddenly, he felt a familiar sharp pain in his chest. He rushed to the grassy area of the cliff, tripping slightly at in the process. He immediately threw up blue flowers. He coughed, and a few more petals fluttered out into the grass.

"H-hanahaki?" He was perplexed by his suspicion. It was impossible for him to have a Hanahaki disease again. He started to coughed more. When he finally stops, his face was red and his throat hurts so much it was like a sand paper slowly scraping down his throat then going back up feeling like sharp needles.

"Hey, let's go. The section is here. Where's sol?" A guy wearing a lab coat called him. He turned to his friend and trying to maintain his posture and hide his symptoms but the flowers are a traitor. He coughed a flood of flowers and that surprised the guy wearing lab coat.

"Y-you got Hanahaki disease?"
