"I heard Ayan left for Korea," Anna brings up the topic casually, not knowing it has become a taboo for Kiera.
She was unaware of the development, so she asked it quite casually as she wanted to have a normal conversation with Kiera after so long. The tension between them was still on, though both did not wish to bring Theodore's subject at any cost right now.
But little did Anna know, she struck Kiera with another topic.
"Did he? Maybe his vacation is over then," Kiera replied shortly, not revealing her inner turmoil.
"You didn't know?" Anna widened her eyes in surprise as she thought she was the one who got to know the news last. She squinted her eyes in suspicion. It was obvious that Kiera was hiding something.
"Did something happen between you two?" Anna asked again as she did not get any reply to her previous question.
