A hot pool of water trickled down Anna's cheeks.
It wasn't some crazy idea. It was her dream, her passion. It might have sounded silly to her parents, but it was the reason she survived in this suffocating house for eighteen years. She didn't even know how could have she dealt with her school life if there wasn't any Vincent, any George, any Jaemin in it. She did complete her studies in LA, but the void of these three was never filled by someone else. She always felt the absence of the only source of warmth in her life. To think her mother would phrase her precious survival energy as good for nothing made her sting more than anything.
Anna sighed inwardly, just after wiping her tears with the back of her palm.
"Money? I don't think they really accepted it even if my dad forced them over their life. They are humble, not cheap, Mother," Anna finally opened her lips resisting all her anger from lashing out.
