"Seriously?" - I mouthed towards Robin without anyone noticing me. I don't know why I'm seeing him more than I have before. Anyway, it's a good thing we met though, I had to debate whether I should text him first or not for the past three days. I have some important matters to discuss with him. I have decided that I'd go back to that mansion again and do a bit of testing. I need to know if everything was only a dream, or why I was missing for the entire three weeks without me realizing. I need to find everything, at any cost. I shouldn't go there alone, I have to know if something happens to me after I sleep at that house, like sleepwalking or something. I need to bring someone with me, and he's the only person I can ask. No one will support me if I tell them my plan, except for him, he's got no choice.
I stood there looking down at him when Jace told us three to sit wherever we suit. Luna and Mira took a sit beside Jace and I took a sit beside Robin, who's now looking at me dumbfounded. Someone was singing at the corner. I waited for everyone to get busy with themselves when I started, whispering to Robin, "I've got important things to say."
"What is it?" - He asked, turning his towards me.
"I'm going there, again."
"Wher- NO, NO WAY!" - he said rather loudly, and I had to scowl at him to keep his voice low. Some of the girls beside him looked at curiously, contemplating who was I to him. Robin was looking unbelievably annoyed at my words. I was intending to land this bomb at the end of this week, since it's only been a few days I came back.
I gave him a few seconds to process what I said and let him calm down a bit before I started again, "I have to! There's something I need to know. I couldn't think of anyone beside you." - stopped for a while to examine his looks, that is now looking dumber than before, "I won't blame you if you don't want to come, I know how big of a coward you are!"
"Stop calling me tha-"
"What are you two talking about?" - said Jace. He was sitting right in front of us with Luna beside him. Both Luna and Mira looked up at us by that, confused. We never talked in school or ever did something together, which is why everyone's looking confused. Before I could give him a reply, Robin opened his mouth with a stern look over at Jace.
"Nothing in particular, just getting to know each other."
"Oh, really! You looked way too serious for that." - Jace said with a smug face, smirking from ear to ear, must be because of the way Robin lied about us not knowing each other.
"Shut up." - Robin said, with an annoyed look.
Everyone beside Robin and Jace doesn't know me well, some of them doesn't even know that I was the one who was the 'missing person' all over the channel a few days ago. The girl, who sat beside Robin, was Molly. She was my rival in fifth grade, we'd always compete each other in every test, sometimes I'd be 1st, and sometimes it's her. She asked Robin who I was,
"She's Hannah..."
"Corey, It's Hannah Corey, and nice to meet you again, Molly." - I said with a soft smile. I gave everyone a brief introduction, just my name and grade. Some of the guys and girls exchanged SNS accounts. In a few minutes, everyone was busy again.
"I'm not telling you to give me an answer right away, give it a thorough thinking-"
"Tell me why then"
"I-I will, late-" - I said, fidgeting my fingers. He won't believe me if I say I don't even know that.
"Now! I, too, need to know why you want to go back to a place from where you went missing. You didn't even tell me what happened to you, where were you. It can be something dangerous out there. If only you explain or convince me! Only then I'll go with you and let you go."
"Let me go? I'll go even if you don't!"
"And I won't let you. I have my ways to stop you, mind that." - He said, now looking way too pissed. He did have his ways, if he tells someone about what I said, I might get into huge trouble or grounded or something worst. I stared at him for a while before turning to the girl who was singing at the corner. I saw a vacant seat beside Luna, it must be the girl's seat who's singing right now. I got up and sat there. I felt him glancing towards me but choose not to look that way. I'll have to find a way to persuade him first, and if that doesn't work, I'd have to take another risk...
