Lu Xun entered the room and looked around the familiar place.
A few months ago, he was invited into his father-in-law's office where the two of them shared a drink. Lu Xun could still remember how stifling it felt while facing Song Chen.
This time, he had this feeling that he would have to suffer facing his father-in-law.
Song Chen closed the door behind him and gestured for Lu Xun to take a seat. Then, he walked over to the small cabinet and pulled out two glasses and a bottle of alcoholic drinks.
Lu Xun watched as his father-in-law poured two glasses of drinks and slid one glass to him.
"Just one glass," Song Chen said. "You are not allowed to drink more."
Song Chen naturally remembered what had happened the last time Lu Xun got drunk. He would not let him drink too much lest his daughter would be upset with him. Moreover, he was worried that this person would utter another nonsense when he got drunk.
