"Dance with Damon! Dance with Damon!" continued to echo across the room and the warmth in Nessa's face grew.
"Fine, I'll do it!" She said and the crowd burst into applause, their faces filled with anticipation.
Nessa was more nervous than ever, the expectant look from the crowd showed that they needed a dazzling performance from her and Damon. Well, whatever happened would be on Damon, after all, she did warn him.
"Milady," Nessa heard someone call from behind her and she turned only to see Damon give her a polite bow and stretch forth his hand which she took as he pulled her to the dance floor with the orchestra already playing a number while everyone watched with interest.
"Tell me about this opening dance," Nessa inquired as she and Damon began to Walz across the floor. Perhaps, because everyone's eyes were on her, she didn't dare to make a mistake. No, she can't make a mistake.
