The meal ended with Damon scowling and glaring at his mother. But on the bright side, with the meal over, he was free to spend time with Nessa. He was so excited by the thought that it came as a shock to Damon when his father dragged/manhandled him to his study as he tried to reach for his girlfriend.

Damon dramatically reached for Nessa whose whole attention was on his mother. But the more he reached, the further she seemed until bam! He's in his father's study.

A feeling of despair clouded Damon as he sank to the ground "I just lost her! "
Charles rolled his eyes, "Quit the drama already, Damon,"
Damon glared at him, "Are you and mother in cahoots to take away my girlfriend from me,"
"That's why you're here," he said and Damon's brow rose in curiosity.
He took a seat at once, "I'm all ears" who knew what his parents were up to. It better be good. Gosh, the curiosity was eating him up.
