"Nessa?"
"Christ Jesus!"
Nessa shrieked when someone tapped on her shoulder scaring the shit out of her. She had been so absorbed in her thoughts that she didn't hear any footsteps nor had she expected anyone to come up to her when the hallway had been empty less than a minute ago.
She turned to face Aimee who looked concerned. God, it was Aimee.
Nessa didn't think of anything, she simply engulfed her best friend in a hug, she missed her so much. It had been so wary dealing with those sharks in the sea without Aimee, her number one supporter by her side.
"Hey, Nessa, you're crushing the air out of me," Aimee complained.
"I don't care," Nessa fussed, holding on tighter.
Aimee let her be and until she had her full did Nessa finally let go.
"I missed you," She told Aimee sincerely.
