"Is Miss Araharn nice?" I asked my brother.
"I don't know. She's not bad to Axlah, though. He says she's silly about her beauty,"
"She would," murmured Iria, " but there are some people," she tossed her hair over her shoulders as she said this, "who don't need to take a bathe to look pretty," and she pinched my cheeks playfully, "in any case, Nei, serve your mistress well,"
I looked at my super-planner sister and sighed.
"Well -- there's nothing for it. But I do hope that she will be nice to me,"

I gently tapped the sleeping beauty on the shoulder. She opened one eye.
"And you are?"
"I'm your new handmaid, my lady. Master asked me to--"
She sat up.
"You are so pretty!"
I blushed.
"Thank you, my lady,"
"My new personal maid--" she looked dreamy, "wow. What's your name?"
"Nei, my lady,"
"I'm no lady -- I'm a miss. And what is Nei?"
"My name, miss,"
"I've never heard that kind of name before," she looked intrigued, "is it just Nei -- and what does it mean?"
"Well, miss, it is actually Neiman Saarhash,"
"Is Saarhash your family name?"
"No miss,"
"What is your family name?"
Hakorhi. But I couldn't say it.
"Drek, miss,"
"Drek?" She was looking more and more bewildered by the minute, "my-- I can hardly pronounce any of them so I'll call you Nei, as you first said,"
"Yes, miss,"
"I hope we can be friends,"
I looked at her bright blue eyes and said nothing.
"Will you help me? I need to marry Prince Theon!"
