Chapter 12 - Magic Conference (2)

My time started.

The speaker stood alone in the wide stage and the listener sat in the lower seat sections, before my turn, I sat around there too. Seats were almost full beside it had some people stood behind seats, the upper seat sections were full too.

Freya sat at the front row of the first row of lower seat sections. When we made eye contact, she smiled.

Mom stood at the gate of the room nearly the drinking service table. One guy in the servant of God's cloth stayed with her. From his dressing, I could tell he was from the 1st temple, the most powerful temple. That place was the place that mom grew up, so they liked relatives for her.

She waved her hand to me. That was so embarrassing. She did like this when I joined the Magic Competition at 6 years old. Mom, I wasn't a kid anymore.

I stood in the middle of the stage, hold my hand to the front.

The Color of the Sea Staff.

[Yes sir. the Color of the Sea Staff activated.]

The long brown staff with the sea's color gem came in my hand. No one showed any surprise because it was liked to get it out from the dimension store.

Many thousand eyes kept looking at me.

Nervous… Nothing at all.

Even I used Eccetric's power, I had so much confidence.

I felt I could do everything.

"Nice to meet you. I'm High Sage Elliot Growing."

I started to present my research.

"Wake up."

"Everyone wakes up! It's the time!"

Forty-one walked along the way to wake his teammates from sleep. Thirty-eight raised his head. The light made his eyes were weak.

"I do it all night, Can't I work late?... Yawn…"

The sunlight shined in the NUMBERS' place. But with artificial lights, it didn't different from the night. This time was working time, many people came in and out. Mess and busy, because today had the special event.

"Um…"

Fifty-three headed up from his yellow duck cushion. Fifty-nine put his blanket out from his head with sleepy movement. They were so tired to make Forty-one shook his head.

"High Sage already presents. Everyone stands by." He told and sat behind Nine.

"How… many times do I sleep?" Fifty-three yawned.

"Around 30 minutes,"

"Agh!! I can't stand it!" Thirty-eight screamed.

"Just a little! It isn't long." Forty-one clapped his head to call everyone. They walked like a corpse and sat behind Nine too.

"As Expect of High Sage, I can't understand it at all! That is like a sleeping pill subject." Thirty-eight still had a bad temper.

"I recalled my student time. He also sleepless likes us, why he can stand it?" Fifty-nine rested on Fifty-three who sat next to him.

"High Sage. Go. Go." Fifty-three cheered with eyes close.

Forty-one had a dry laugh. Even he was deputy chief, Forty-one couldn't complain about it. He just woke up too. Except for understandable presentations from the old man, it had Elliot's idea that kept following it. Whoever could listen it listen. He wanted to say something like this, but he had to keep it in his heart.

Because it had one person.

The man in front of him. The only one who looked at Elliot every second.

The conference room was quiet in silent, my voice was a bit echo. From visitors' reactions, I thought I did it well.

I feared other people's eyes, but when I presented or taught, those eyes felt different. I felt they looked at the real me, not the title. I was proud to be the Youngest High Sage of history, but the son of Hero was a little bit different.

Some people talked while I presented or did another thing. That was no problem. They could read it from my Stone Inscription or my copy of the report. The time that everyone waited was after finished the theory.

The voice inside still was with me.

[Time limit of Free Trial was 7 minutes 57 seconds.]

[Time Limit of the presentation was 5 minutes 12 seconds.]

I had to accept it. He truly gave me test the full service. I grinned without self-control. My eyes might bright more than every jewel.

Let's show them, our beautiful magic.

I pointed my staff out. The light from MP made the drop occurred, increased size until it became the big water ball. Many spells mixed like a clean flow. The change started to appear a little by little.

If looked at it closely, it had 2 spheres overlapped.

Outside was air. Inside was water. It was nothing for looking with eyes until,

The green point occurred.

It was the plant. Many leafages floated on the water surface and group together to create the land. When they grew enough at one point, they stopped spreading. It was like the reproduction of a plentiful island. The sunlight from windows reflected on the water surface. It couldn't stop sending brighten. Everyone could understand in the same way.

It was a beautiful thing.

I proudly presented,

"This is my Floating Aquarium."

Many people were gathering in the big close room. It was liked a command room or meeting room for special status staff who could get inside. Many types of equipment were processing. All males and females that wore a uniform but a little different looked were looked at the big screen. Nine and Forty-one too.

"Haha… Won't you tell him the truth?"

Forty-one received a hearing ability from Nine. He felt despair when he heard Elliot told his research was an aquarium.

"It isn't good that he concludes like that?"

Nine stayed beside the equipment that control the display. He held energy drinks with him if he didn't control himself, he would fall to sleep. Even he had nearly closed his eyes, he still looked at the screen.

"He doesn't need to know more than this."

The screen showed the transparent sphere shape that had lines of its structure.

Many values that represent something were increasing. Although it had the same shape, it had inside processed differently than Elliot's work. It would be going to give birth to something.

At the first encounter time, Nine… just wanted to make fun of him.

He wanted to teach overconfident exist to know about the limit, wanted to make him defeat by his power, begged the one who can do everything like him.

But he didn't realize that he was played with the tiger.

Same as Elliot. He didn't know what the thing he created.

Sphere, water, air, ground, and plant.

When combining these things, there was only one definition. It was the name of the environment. Although it was created from nothing, magic could make it happen. NUMBERS already approved it, but. If it just that, Nine wouldn't trouble like this.

Elliot knew acid but he didn't know amino acid.

He didn't know Oxygen, and Carbon dioxide. These things were air and cloud for him.

Chemicals, science, and biology weren't things Elliot know. Plants from Ground and Wood Magic weren't real plants.

Even that his sense was to shape. He could separate a small difference between air and cloud with the thing he called Magic Flow.

The balance he created, and follow was guiding him to the result that he couldn't imagine.

Life.

The thing that was born in the balance.

"High Sage's research is the Creating Prokaryotic Cell."

The starting cell at the birth of the world. The first inhabitants on Earth.

Without using an Eccentric hand.

Cross the line.

Elliot could be an enemy of God by himself.

It was an accident that his magic disappeared before his research was finished.

No one knew.

But this thing, NUMBERS couldn't accept it to be born in that place. That's why they worked hard, kept this secret from Elliot, followed Elliot's process, and stopped some processes of life.

They created things to cover it and made the flow stable with their tools.

They gave the fake perfection piece to Elliot

and kept the real perfection piece with them.

The process on the screen was going to change. The real result of the High Sage research was going to show little by little. Nine looked at it, the thing that the real creator would never saw it. The moment of the first ancestor of life was born. He looked at the many possible things that would come from this in the future.

"Forty-one, do you think how much of this thing?"

"I don't know. I'm not a merchant."

"I'm used to be, but... this is…"

Nine laughed with pleasure tone. This thing was out of his hand. How could he calculate the price of the new possibility?

"He is a truly High Sage."

A kid that never knew how precious his sword was.

Nine couldn't stop a smile. His heart was beaten so fast. He was overfilled with the thing he searched for a long time…

And it wouldn't stop right here.

"Thank you for choosing us."

Clap Clap Clap Clap.

The sound of Applause from two different places was synchronous. When the face of the true result occurs, it was the same time that Elliot finished his speech and bowed his head.
