she replied she'll tell him once he finds his necklace.
Meanwhile in the funeral home,
Jae-hwan comes running up to her, when Ji-ah turns around, the girls weren't anywhere to be seen. She and Jae-hwan part in the parking lot where, Ji-ah realizes the beans have fallen out of the ripped bag.
Abruptly, Ji-ah's scarf begins to choke her. The little girls giggle as they pull on the ends, wrapping it tighter and tighter around her neck. She drops to the ground unconscious. Jae-hwan sees her collapse and calls her name.
Ji-ah wakes at her place, with Jae-hwan looking after her. She explains about the little girls, and he wonders if they were ghosts.
There were rumors that funeral hall was originally built, where dead children were buried.
She felt that something was off about him...as he was reading a book upside down. Sure enough, Ji-ah asks why he's reading that book upside down.
The lights flicker, and Jae-hwan disappeares. After that Ji-ah notices the two little girls or.... ghosts, peeking out from under the couch, giggling that she caught them. They scurry back under the couch, and Ji-ah looks around in fear.

In the cave, Yeon feels his talisman separate from Ji-ah. He yelled for Taluipa and begged to go to Dosan Hell since it's his only chance of making it out today. She warns him he might never escape, but it's worth the risk to Yeon. He has to go to Ji-ah anyhow.
Yeon stands at the bridge to Dosan ("Knife Mountain") Hell. Taluipa warns him he can't turn back once he starts across.
Yeon worried that he won't make it in his current state, because of staying hours in the snow mountain, his body had all turned blue... looking like his blood circulation had stopped.
Yeon, looking worse for wear, takes a deep breath. Taluipa rolled her eyes abruptly when he casually said he'll be back soon.
He started crossing the terrifying rickety bridge as knives fly at him. So that's why it's called "Knife Mountain." While walking many knives flew at him making several cuts on his body.

Ji-ah starts in fear as the hall light begins to flicker incessantly,
" What do you want from me??".
The lights went out. Ji-ah looks down to find the little girls each hugging one of her legs. They whine and tell her to give them her body.
Ji-ah takes her chances outside, running as the little girls tail her. She finds an empty building and locks herself inside, stifling her cries. The girls seemed to multiply as many little hands bang on the door.
Suddenly the banging stopped,
she hazard a glance outside once the banging stopped. The little girls were gone, but she suddenly hears them laughing. It was coming from right behind her. Ji-ah sees the girls and screams, running upstairs.

Whereas, Yeon gritted his teeth and make his way forward despite the many cuts on his body. Yeon's situation wasn't looking very good on the bridge , he was struggling with his every step, a knife flew at him and injured his leg, after a little breather, Yeon wrenched the knife from his leg and continued his literal hellish journey, Or he tried to, but he fell unconscious.

The little girls chased Ji-ah onto the roof, except now, it was a horde of children wanting to steal her body.

On the bridge, Yeon recalls Ji-ah saying she'll protect him and how Ah-eum had said she'd kept her promise to protect him and she died.
Yeon picks himself up at the thought of Ji-ah's possible death and begins crawling forward. Whether she was Ah-eum or not, Yeon knew her death would cut deeper than the blades here. He unconsciously begs her to stay alive, until he gets there.
" Just be alive until I come to you"
As Ji-ah cried in fear, she thought that she got used to having no one beside her when she has nightmares.
So why is she looking for Yeon now? She closed her eyes, seeing the times, he protected her when she fell from the building and at the skull island.

Yeon finally makes it to the other side of the bridge, thinking of Ji-ah. He ran with all his power to find her. But the horde of children pushed Ji-ah from all sides until she falls backward off the roof. Yeon catched her at the last second before she hit the ground.
Ji-ah saw that he's injured and rushed towards him. She cried and begged the unconscious Yeon not to die because of her. A teardrop falls, and the fox bead appears. Yeon wakes to find the golden sheen illuminating her.
"I found you,"
he said , with a smile.Yeon wiped Ji-ah's tears
" I've been waiting for you"
Yeon fell unconscious after draining a his powers, Ji-ah cradled his head and cried her heart out..
