A while back, when Aillenne woke up, the nanny shed a tear almost non-stop, then will smile then back to crying. She's just so happy as Aillenne was revived. It was like a feeling of a mother who once lost a child being reunited after years of separation.
She just can't stop it until she felt her eyes become swollen to a double. Her handkerchief is already wet from tears and snot and she were forced to go back to her quarters to change her wet clothes and handkerchief.
"Finally, some quiet time. Fuuu... what in the world happened? I'm sure I'm not dead, but how come I've arrived at this strange place? As far as I've deduced, the woman that keeps on crying a while ago isn't my mother. What on earth is going on?"
"Hmmm... how can I understand that language? I don't think I've learned it before."
"Who are those people? I thought they were just playing a prank on me. Huff. When will I be sent back? This is not a good joke."
After a moment of being alone, all of her thoughts poured out.
She looked around the surroundings and was amazed by the beauty and grandeur she sees. An overly decorated pink bed then fresh flowers, some books and she can also see a beautiful garden by the open window and the scent of fresh flowers can be smelled. A huge teddy bear with a lot of stitches and has different eye color caught her attention.
"Cute."
Bit when she tried to grab it, small white fingers came into view. She hurriedly checked her appearance and was surprised by seeing the body of a child.
Dumbfounded, she stayed still and was overly anxious for a week. Everyday she wakes up with the hope of being back to the world she lived before being transmigrated, but every morning she will wake up seeing the same place and faces.
For a week of being in silence and contemplating on how she arrived at the place, she finally asked what she really wanted to know.
"... you are Lady Aillenne Zannoah Winston of the Winston Marquisate..."
At first, she couldn't believe, but now hearing her name, she confirmed that she is now living in a world, different from where she lived previously.
[The Darling Worshipping a Flower] is the only thing that comes to her mind after she rummaged the place and hearing she's Aillenne, the antagonist of a novel who were executed unjustly, maybe for the sake of characters growth and whatnot.
The novel is so disorganized, centered in different and scattered topic and one will not know what is what, a rollercoaster of thoughts and literally, a mess. It is a trashy novel she read in her previous life where she miraculously endured but stopped at the 44th Chapter.
Sierra Zynne could not help but sob when she heard her new name again from the mouth of her nanny.
Aillenne Zannoah Winston is the most unfortunate character in the book, she died then brought back to life and for whatever purpose the author made it, she didn't know.
She is forced by her mother and father to become the perfect lady of the society and reign over the social circle. By her parents' greed and thirst for power, they made their own daughter a puppet for the sake of fame.
Eventually, she was forced to become the fiancee of the crown prince as there were no lady coming from the two Ducal houses to form a political marriage.
The sly Prince who knew her desperation for affection whispered soothing and flowering words then used her money and beauty, but never gave his heart to her.
Despite all this, she love the Crown prince as he is the only one who showed her affection, aside from her nanny.
She became blind and a fool for love.
She became obsessed and hurt every woman who came in contact with the prince even Shannon, the female protagonist of the story. Then, she was ordered to be executed as she hinders the love of the main protagonists.
'What was that?'
Sierra Zynne asked herself, dazed.
It was such a cliche plot and simply bullshit. She cannot bear the story so she threw it off the wall hitting the old clock of her deceased grandfather.
Crash!
"What?! What a shit story. Aillenne should've just escaped from that hell in first place. What plot development is that? She did everything her parents told her, then she were left behind again to be executed? What the! Argh!!! Such a waste of time."
Her gaze were directed again to the old and stupid book.
[The Darling Worshipping a Flower] is such a mess, a waste of time and argh!!! Who the hell made such thing?
The introvert Sierra whose thoughts rage inside her head looked composed on the outside. She think a lot but seldom speak as it is annoying.
The wind chimed gently bringing in a peaceful sound amidst her internal conflict. She glanced around to check if there is a customer in a shabby store of antiques then proceed to put a sign of 'CLOSED' outside the door and went on to close the blinds.
She went back to check her grandfather's clock which is broken by her rage. She took the book and cleaned up the shards.
As she carefully removed every shards, she felt something and saw three keys in the corner of the old cuckoo clock. It had a color of red, black and blue with ornate patterns like an emblem.
She wondered at first what use it had as it looked new compared to the things around the shop. She checked if it is for a safe or something as she rummage her memory of her late grandfather's instructions.
'I hope it would be money... or a title to a land... or something of value...'
As she looked up, she saw three small slit with the three colors on the clock where its hand rotates clockwise then proceed to open it using the keys.
"Hmmm? Nothing? Psh... I thought it's a safe. Grandfather really had a lot of time to make these things. I'm sorry grandfather for destroying your... cuckoo...clock?!"
A bright light was emitted and the clock's hand turned rapidly in a counterclockwise motion making her head dizzy.
"Ahh... the hell's wrong with this? Hyuk!"
It sucked her body in the white void and now she woke up in a child's body.
