Scarlette had told her family she'd be gone for a couple of days and had packed up early to go on trips, Her family had not to care and allowed her to go, as well as be adjourned from school. I had needed only one suitcase, a school bag and a side bag for the trip. the whole trip was already organized just whatever had come would be different, my siblings went to my room and spoke much about my absence. I had a feeling they would spy on me throughout my trip and higher guards, I was able to easily slip away from them and gone off on the plane to New york.
The guys called in on me, asking multiple questions like "Why are you going to new york?!" or "Does it have to be during the School year?" Although they were hard questions to answer I had told I used to receive education at new York and can visit my teachers and old friends. The guys agreed and simply hang-up afterward, "Friends...I say" In my mind, I never contribute to having many friends back then and now I have open up to these two. I went on the plane and arrived in New York settling in at a hotel and now eating at a cafe, New York is known for its vast culture.
"Scarlette!" walking over to her
"Miss Katherine?" looking back while eating
She walked over sitting at the seat across from me "I had heard word that you'd be coming back? So what is it this time?" I put down my food whipping my mouth and drinking water, she looked impatient as she looked at me "Scarlette are you gonna tell me or I'll just leave" I laughed looking at her "Rocks and research a few materials on this project" her eyes were wide open and didn't expect what had come out of my mouth "Science?"
"Yep" nodded
"So you're having trouble in science class..." looking at me with a smile on my face "You're hiding something from me aren't you, What is your real motive"
"If I had told, would you believe it"
"Depends but were friends no need to be formal anymore, your not in my school"
"Well it's researching upon jewelry making on rocks and materials and the pass since new york is wide in its design I decided to do some research here"
Katherine had laid back understanding me now "Okay I'll call up my friends to help you out and list museums you can look at, I bet the other teachers will help out as well"
"Thanks, Katherine! should we go window shopping then" She had jumped out of her seat yearning to go and danced the way to the door, we had locked arms looking around at designs from all perspective such as on a crown, ring, dresses. Spending the whole day was fun and we separated in the afternoon, she had some leftover work again. upon the moments of my walk around, I seemed to have seen a familiar face and walked backward.
A sudden movement had come up behind me, speaking "Hey Scarlette"
I kept on walking with the crowd pretending I hadn't heard anything but the boy seemed to have gone up close and stood in front of me instead I had put on a hat before he could see me looking down at the floor. He took my hand and placed me in the car, I couldn't loosen his grasp at all, how strong is this guy!
I looked a little at him, it was Felix?! I jumped back putting my hand near my mouth
He looked at me "you finally caught on with yourself now."
I took a little breather "Felix? why are you here?"
taking out his phone "I had a business meeting my company partnerships"
I had fixed my seating and sat looking out the window "So why am I in the car?"
"I wanted to find some privacy with you and maybe also have dinner" still looking at his phone
seeing in the reflection of the window "It seems I caught you in a busy time"
"Actually you came at the right moment my next client may need your assistance" The car had slow down
"Why should I give my assistance?"
"I had thought you'd say that but in this, your more helping me, your friend, and having to attend as my partner to two events tonight" I had right then received messages from him, where information on the guests. I looked there were two people who had been in jewelry designing, I decided I accepted his offer but then will receive something in return. "What is it that you want, I'll supply the clothing for tonights and later meetings with no payment"
"That's no problem you payment is materials I'll be asking for" he then gave me his credit card
"What this for?" looking at the card it was black
"You can text me the materials but I might be busy so you can buy whatever you want using my card" Handing her the card
"Felix? Are you okay?" checking his head as backoff
"I'm not sick I trust you with the card" putting it in her hands and leaving the car, I had put the card away in my bag before anyone could have seen it when I got out. "I won't be using it for more than what you owe" he grinned at me and walked in the store "as you say. I won't blame if you use more than usual then you can be of help to me more" I got mad and walked in the store, it was a clothing store I had picked out the clothing right for the meetings, I only bought two sets for the day and finished it quickly as I also did change into the clothing for business attire alongside Felix. I had given my stuff to his assistant and walked to Felix as he looked at me from up and down "nice! You now look as if you are my partner next we'll get to know each other more so the client will believe.
