I went off to the ship and stood on it, and I saw my spot with items on it and a box with hot cocoa and a snack it was still warm. It felt nice although I never saw the boy again after I detransformed. I wondered what happened to him, I looked closely at something that bothered me it was a message not so long ago "I hope you like my gift and happy New years!" he's offline at the moment but I never texted back but it felt nice being on the ship that I put on my ear-plugs and found myself dancing under the fairy lights. It was the warmest feeling of light and I even cried a few years dancing as I have not realized I caught a few attention, but I was plainly in my own world. Once I stop dancing I heard clapping, It was Nathaniel, Marc, and Luka! I looked with surprise on my face and didn't know who to go to first but they all came to me at the same time then I started texting them "guys! what are you doing here?"
"live on this ship." Luka's plainly reply
"I was walking by and saw you" Nathaniel replying
"I happened to saw along the way, as I followed Nathaniel" Marc pointing out in his text
I looked at them and replied "thanks for the applause but that felt embarrassing to do."
"It wasn't embarrassing at all," they all said aloud, I was laughing and everybody did so too.
Nathaniel in private reply "It's New Years and let's have fun, we'll talk about it tomorrow, Marc already informed about it but were happy were the first to know" I felt a little guilty I have to keep this a secret from Luka since he was so kind I would like to talk to him as well. Maybe at the next meeting I will, For now, I'll have to speak it out with the guys and all.
Nathaniel announced "Hey should we go to the ball, you can join too", Luka accepting the invitation and meets us at the party as the rest had gone to the clubhouse for me to get dress. I had gotten dressed and it was the first time the guys saw me in a dress, I told them as I got out "the first dress got messed up so I'm wearing the back-up one", it has purple fade to blue with a stary feel design. it came with watching a set of its own to create the nice look, I skipped wearing a mask because I had Nathaniel and Marc and Luka there. The boys replied "You look good no matter what dress you wear Scarlett" Nathaniel said
"You look good in any dress but it does feel weird talking to you every once in a while but it's a good feeling that your voice is the same to the ear-buds you gave us" Marc implying
"I wanted to at least have you guys used to the feeling I guess, but I was very anti-social" telling them the reason
"and now your not to us" Nathaniel pointing out himself and the others as well and walking out.
The moment we reached the ball Luka looked nice and Luka was happy to see me and said "that dress suits you, wanna dance?", Nathaniel buttin' in "she's gonna dance with me first", Marc rolling his eyes and leads Scarlett to the desert area "Here maybe you wanna eat then dance with the others" I nodded and happily ate the food as Nathaniel and Luka were fighting but a girl name Cloe came up to me "Ew, What the heck! you looking nice if you weren't eating" turns her head away, I looked at her and whipped my mouth and texted her "And you would be better if you hadn't spoken rudely", she checks her messages and looks away ignoring me. Marc was about to help but didn't do anything "Sorry I didn't help", I texted him "it was alright". As I had gone to the bathroom and girl name Marinette was crying because a boy left? I walked out and looked around for all the school mates and found that Adrien was missing, hmm it was strange at his own dad's party. I went to the rooftop and found Chatnoir, "Chatnoir?" he looked back and saw "Scarlett?" with her ear-piece speaker and her phone.
"What are you doing up here?"
"I was looking for something, you look pretty today" with a gloomy feeling in his voice
"Thanks, what are you looking for?"
"My New Years Resolution" looking out into the distance
"A New Years Resolution is something thought up simple and finding it is hard but for you Chatnoir you just not be afraid of it, I think my resolution this year is to face my fear" Looking back at last year
"Your fear?" looking at Scarlett
Taking off the ear-bud and speaking "I'm Anti-social and I can barely speak since I got here but here I am talking to you Chatnoir, it's thanks to some people" smiling back
"Oh, that's big to overcome. I'll talk to you once in a while, how about that since you help me find my resolution" gives her a bow and goes off. I went back inside and went to the dance floor seems everyone was worried about, I forgot I took off my ear-bud. I put it back in my ear and had seen Nathaniel and Luka dancing together it was beauty for sore eyes. Marc came up to me asking my whereabouts, I had just told him I went to the rooftops, Adrien entered the party and he seemed busy but later in the party he asked me to dance with him. It was awkward but it was quiet he hadn't said a word the whole time and then when we finished dancing he asked me to meet him right after. Although I still stuffed my mouth throughout most of the party, the guys wanted to escort me back to the house. Supposedly after the party, Adrien just gave me a gift and had said "you dropped this so I put it in here so no one can see it" and left off to his father as my family had called me back and my friends. Mom had said "Scarlett! Were leaving come here now!" in her calling she tried to sound as if she was giving me everything I hear her as I signed. I nodded and went back in as I said my goodbyes to everyone. I wondered what was in the box?
