After my holidays were over, I went back to my work place. The situations were little changed, Varun had started working hard in his dad's business , it's not that we won't met regularly , but we were more closer to eachother than ever as we respect eachother and were supporting eachother. Varun was more concentrated in his work, and I was happy to saw him doing all that for me.
Every morning we met for the breakfast and discuss everything in details which was going on in our life , we didn't hide anything from eachother.
After few days , He asked me to meet his friends as we were in an open relationship, he wanted to introduce me to his friends.
"Where are you , I have already reached here ?" I queried.
"Oh no ! Baby , I was in a meeting and I will be a little late , don't worry my friends were waiting for you inside the restaurant , so please don't wait for me outside. You walk inside, I'll be there in a while" he explained.
I was hesitating to walk inside without Varun , but I went inside and saw four friends waving at me and signalling me to walk near them in a freindly way. They were two boys and two girls present over there.
"Hey , I'm Sumit and she is Jashmin , she is Gurlin , and he is Nishan" sumit introduced everybody to me nicely.
They all had wore expensive dresses and were looking like there must belonged to rich families. Their look were judging me continuously, and I felt little awkward.But ignoring that I started talking with them. "Hi , I'm Deepali" I introduce myself to them.
"Oh , what do you do?" Jashmin asked sharply.
" I'm a Professor in the University".
"Oh really , I'm shocked" Sumit wondered. "Yaa , what you guys do ?" I asked genuinely.
"I have completed my MBA and now planing to join my dad's company" he explained shortly.
" Oh , nice , may you have you want " I appreciated it with a smile.
"Yaa, I'm also planing to move abroad for higher studies " Nishan uttered confidently.
"What's your subject?" I asked Nishan curiously.
"Micobiology and Biotechnology" he replied quickly.
"Oh really, I'm also a biologist , you can tell me if you need any help and you can share your experience to me after returning from abroad , I will definitely like to hear it " I spoke sweetly.
"You are so sweet , I will definitely share my experience with you " he uttered with a smile.
"What about you Gurlin ?" I asked sweetly. "I have nothing to do , I'm into music and after graduation , I'm just searching for a guide , who can take me in the right path" Gurlin explained simply , she didn't seem to be a serious mindful girl.
"I can help you , if you don't have any objections " I suggested.
"Yaa , will you find a guide ?" she wondered curiously.
" Yaa , I can get you to talk to my university's music teacher , is that will be okay for you ?" I asked generously.
"Oh , thanks . Thanks a lot, it will be great to meet him " she said being excited and hugged me tightly. I smiled at her and then I switched to Jashmin finally and asked her.
"Jashmin " I just started.
"I want to get a drink for me who else will have ?" Jashmin interrupted me immediately by asking for drinks to others. she was behaving strangely. she walked to have a drink.
"Don't take her seriously , she is always like this , she isn't bad but sometimes she behave worse " Nishan stated calmly. "Don't mind please , I just wanted to have a drink , that's why I walked away" Jashmin clarified sweetly , so I thought may be Nishan was right , she wasn't bad but sometimes she behave crazy.
"It's okay , I didn't mind anything dear" I replied softly.
"Here you go guys , I had ordered this for all of us " Jashmin insisted us to have drinks.
" No , thanks but I can't have this" I spoke honestly.
"Don't worry, I thought you might not have this habbit of drinking , so I have ordered soft drink for you dear" Jashmin was so sweet to me and to appreciate her effort , I took that drink.
After sometime I felt as if , my neck and face was burning , I was flanked by dizziness , my throat was burning.
"What happened?" Nishan looked at me and queried.
"Are you okay?" Gurlin questioned with care .
" You are not looking fine , I think you have some problem ?" Sumit started panicked. I felt difficulty in breathing and it made them more panic.
"Have you mixed alcohol in my drink , please tell me" I begged Jashmin to tell the truth.
"Jashmin, is it your plan ?" Nishan screamed with anger.
"I had tried to prank her guys , believe me , I had no idea that she have health issues "
Jasmine admitted.
"What's happening here?" Varun questioned strongly from back. I turned back around and tried to utter his name , but I couldn't as I was gasping for breath. "What happened to you , love ? what happened to her ?" he roared with anger. He hugged me and said "I won't leave you guys ? If she had some serious issues , I'll kill you all".
"Listen to me dude, Jashmin just wanted to prank her but she didn't knew that Deepali have health issues with alcohol " Sumit tried to explain Varun.
"What ? Are you guys mad or what ? How could you ?" Varun was disgusted by his friend's behaviour and he kicked a chair as hard as he could.
Then , I fainted . He took me in his arms and ran to the doctor. The doctor checked me and gave me an injection and told Varun to take care of me , so he decided to take me to his house.
